Appreciate the video brother as I'm still sourcing parts for my upcoming 4v swap on my 01 gt, but couldn't I swap in a full 03 Lincoln aviator engine and be ready for boost? Maybe besides swapping the intake?
The Aviator block and heads are identical to the Cobra, but the crank is 6 bolt and not forged. Low boost you're pretty safe but for longevity look into doing a Coyote rotating assembly swap. The Coyote crank and rods are pretty tough and can be found for pretty cheap. You'll need to get Coyote swap pistons but if you're pushing boost over about 500 hp you're looking at replacing the hypereutectic stock pistons with forged ones anyway. The bonus is the Coyote crank also acts as a stroker kit, not much but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Been really considering doing this to my 98 recently and youre making it look easier than i thought
Damn dog do you live in the Bahamas I was like damn ok you got the accent! But you stay there that's dope
Great video on swapping the heads!
Gotta do this to my 93 MKVIII, Eaton or Whipple tho
Hey there sir, great info. Why do you need the different timing cover? What is the difference?
I have a teksid that was converted to run 2V heads but contemplating doing a C head swap now lol
@@DriftDreams242 I have ported 2V heads and hellion turbo kit to go with it but those cobra head flow numbers are way beyond my heads

You can’t use the b head injectors? They’re the same size 24# injectors. Do they have a different plug pattern or something?
What would be the difference for a 4.6l 2v PI
Good information 👍
