I work on small engines and it breaks my heart to see this kind of stuff get scraped

Not every unit is worth fixing up and I’m saying this as someone whose hobby is to buy restore then flip dirt bikes quads boats etc but some stuff just isn’t worth the money/time.

that anvil was easy 150-200
I would say only 65, they are about 1-3 dollars a pound. It may have been, but it don't look solid like a good anvil. But yea, these days anvils are worth more... So maybe.

That guy got a great deal on clearing his yard.. he should be paying someone to clear that junk couple hundred minimum.. regardless of the value of the scrap.
That is exactly what I told Bob after the fact. We need to start getting paid to do this. Scrap money should just be a bonus on top of it

Hi, I live in Australia and there is a huge market here for rusty stuff especially gears and cogs etc. people are making sculptures and garden stuff out of them.
I wish there was a huge market for that here. I can’t imagine sending them to Australia, the shipping would be horrendous. :-)

Don’t throw old atv away like that 😡 to scrap yard it’s a wast you could of sold all 3 atv for money lot more than scraping them u could of sold those 4 wheelers to kids that won’t one and they could of turn them into projects we Texas people like to collect old ruined 4 wheeler or anything ruined like that turn them into projects because fix old trashed atv is cheaper because the engine won’t be Chinese
OMG I needed the front and gas tank off that four-wheeler I would have gave you a couple hundred for it even I would have swapped out a few other parts. Everyone that has those parts are charging to much and hard to find cuz they're older💔😥

You know fellows, sometimes you two come into situations that I'm sitting here thinking there is no way except for you two to clean up on this or that , because it was a windfall. But once again you've proven me wrong. I can't get over someone being satisfied with $9 for a four wheeler that would just as easily brought a hundred and not had to look any farther... I won't get started!

You guys make a good team. Scraping isn't always easy. I help my hubby many times. I enjoy the putzing work of taking stuff apart. I hope you get power soon. I know what you're going through. Oct 31, 1991 we had a huge ice storm in southern MN. Power was out in 5 counties. All power line poles were broken off. We were without power for 3 days and then bought a generator. Without power for 13 days. We did ok. Didn't have too many hogs at the time. Thank God for that. Have a great week.

NO, don't scrap the anvil. that's a easy sell for a whole lot more than scrap. one that size I have seen go for 100 bucks or more several times at auctions.

Those atvs sell super fast a 100 each on Craigslist market place As is all day long. Keep that in mind if you come across any more 👍
