Took me forever to figure out that Lox will NOT eat if they have a full roof over their heads. I had used this design but added roofing so it wouldn't get weathered by rain, but you can't do that. As soon as I removed the roof they ate and mated.
Coming over from another video, apparently the reason is that lox's "see" from about the height of a troll xD So a low roof puts their eyes above the ceiling so they can't see the food.
Just to clarify, when i say “at least 2 core wood”, this means “the minimum to make it work”. If you want more loxes, just make it higher or dig a hole around it. the rest of the project itself won’t change. At least = minimum. Enjoy it!
They stop breeding once there are two calves loitering around beneath them. Once i move one of the calves away they breed. Calves standing around beneath them are too close.
They will fall eventually, but I already did put a little detail that helped speeding the process of them, cubs or piglets, fall down quicker! I’ll post it this week, here! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@dogboydoug79 oh! At that height for me its still working. But if you’re having problems like that, you can just go up one more core wood. It’s possible that you’ll need to use wood iron poles, but the problem will be solved.

I would like to be able to tame deers and necks lol! you can have all of them but the enclosure/pit must be HUGE haha I already did it with Loxes and Wolves! aparently only the animals from the same species will interfere on the breeding of each one! thanks bro!
@@bujamesdean1708 I have an old base with a huge trench all around, they 'll have plenty of space before the butchering lol - juste need a 2* boar and wolf. yeah necks farm can be nice, the 2* have pretty colors...hope it will add later, don"t know if it 's doable with mods. I gave up with fish, too much trouble to build traps
Because baby loxes can get down through the ramps, or through the holes on the sides… it will always depends on the Big loxes movement. Anyway, the main thing is the layout of the place that the loxes stay. You can do the base, or the ramps, the way it fits better on your terrain! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@bujamesdean1708 I copied your build but i have a big Lox hole. So i dont need the ramps after i put Lox on top. It works.. I also build on top of that a little room with Teleporter so i can feed the Lox.
@@mildeecke6641 as i said, the main thing is that you use the layout of the confinement place, where they stay. From that, if you go up or dig down, is really up to you and what is best for you and your base! :) i’m happy that the layout of the confinement place itself, is 100% working. You also can build 2 Doors on top of the ramps so its easier to get through. But its a nice breeder. Great video
Baby lox can come down through the ramps too… if i put a door in there, it will close this path

The beams at the side is for the big loxes don’t fall. You can try removing them for testing! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Why aren't my lox multiplying? I copied the layout. They eat cloudberries but they don't breed.
Did you make any kind of roof? i tried a roof, and they didn’t breed or eat, until i took the roof out.
Because the height isn't enough. If they're directly underneath, it needs to be 2.5 of the 4m core wood poles. Same with boars and lox.

The wood can break, but the loxes will stop walking on top of each other! Don’t worry! Just fix it, and everything will be ok soon!
