- I’m this episode of Iron City Garage Clay gets to work on the 1955 Ford F100. This truck actually made a appearance in one of our earlier videos when we stopped at Zach Rudy’s farm on our way back from Nebraska with the Ford Cab over. Zach of course sold Pete the truck a couple months back and now it’s time to see what’s under the hood!

good ole nebraska truck! just picked up my 1954 f100 cant wait to get at it
Man, when that little 6-cylinder fired up, it cleared up and ran as smoothly as a sowing machine, I'm sure that with a reupholstered interior, bed wood and a few other odds and ends, the new owner could make a sweet patina rig. I was surprised to see that thus generation of Ford had such a small six cylinder in it.
Great point!
Is it for sell and how much
My Good i love IT. I want one like that in Poland❤❤❤❤
I like that video Super awesome video. Nice looking truck no wonder it was gone. Real quick big super fan of your channel. Make more videos. You’re like my favorite TH-cam channel. Because you guys are always working on good stuff and your mechanic is a hard-working mechanic. Thanks.
Thank you we appreciate it! Glad you found your way to another video
Good running little 6 cyl.
Classic
Nice truck
Thanks 👍
The engine should have been a 223 "Mileage Maker" straight 6. It was the only one offered in '55. All other optional engines would have been Y-blocks of different displacements for that year.
@Iron City Garage, what's the music at 1:58? You don't list it, I love old music.
Wish it was a quad cab
Back in the 1960’s and 1970’s not many people wanted these trucks, in fact if you were still using these old trucks people would laugh and make fun of you. You almost couldn’t sell one. Now everything old is new again. Millennials and Gen Xers are just enthralled by these old cars and trucks. I think the reason is people are looking for that old America when we built quality and were number one automaker in the world.
I love these Ford trucks from the 50's, this truck probably cost about $1150.00 new. ❤❤❤
What's your price for this truck please?I would like to buy.
