I've got a very similar setup. It's a kicker TC10 with the kicker 11DX250.1. It's an incredible setup for like, under 200 i think is what I paid for it back in 09. Best setup for the price imo.
If you're gonna get a cheap kicker like that, make sure you go and replace all your stock speakers with the same size kickers too. It will improve the overall quality an incredible amount. I have the front speakers as kickers and the back are Sony. Kickers in the front outshine the factory speakers and the Sony speakers. Kickers are definitely my favorite. I should've ordered them for the rear but now I'm thinking I should also order one or 2 of those subs. I am gonna go for a full install kit though because when you go with one brand, my experience, you want the whole system to stick with one brand including the amp. If you ever sell your car or your speaker system, it'll be worth a whole lot more if it ain't mixed up.

This will be my 1st system ever and also i can adjust tweeters and each speaker from the KENWOOD im looking for a clean sound clean bass...am i on the right track? And again what subs u recommend? Agreed. I'm adding this sub to my setup in my Jeep. Right now I got kicker 6.5s with bass blockers on the head unit in the front doors and I got 4 kicker 6x9s in the back (2 in the quarter panels and 2 in boxes) wired for 2 ohm to a 1000w amp. Swapping in a Rockville 3200w 4ch (6x9s on 1&2 and the sub bridged on 3&4) when the sub comes in

Side note: I drive a Honda Civic which is a small car so the 10 inch sub was adequate for the car's size. If you drive something bigger (SUV, truck, etc) I suggest getting a 12 inch or bigger. But yea either way it sounds awesome!
i really want to hear what these sound like with normal pop/rnb music because i usually listen to old pop and want a punchy nice not overly powerful bass in my suv, so I am hoping this will do fine

I jus bought 2 these for under my back truck seat (should clear as stock) and the kicker CX 1200.1 Amp has about double the power the subs need but I think that will kick.

2 10 compvt's (shallow) with apmn-1300 1000 watt amp for my dodge ram 1500 im hopping they bang hard. I wanted 12's but 12's may not last as long as the 10s under the seat and may hit the seat. But I can always upgrade.
Does it fit under the back seat with the seat down? I have a similar box with a pioneer under my GMC Sierra backseat. I just know Kicker is way better at bass.

I like funk, rock and metal mainly but I also like to listen to some old school gangsta shit sometimes. I want audible bass in the music I usually listen to I drive a 200 toyota rav 4 and the sound system sucks. Today I got a sterio to connect to bluetooth in it next I'm going to get this. Will it be good for what I like. I want gkkd smooth audible bass mainly but also have the option to turn up the bass to bump some rap from time to time.
I love the placing of where the sounds come from when I'm in a car with a good system. I feel like im sandwiched in between the bass and treble the bass comes from behind and gives the boom in the chest and the treble coming from in front for the clarity and subtleties.
Is the bass all the way down good for if you want a audio improvement and a little bass ? I don’t want anything crazy loud like most of these people now a days

The sub is a 600w sub and the 1000rms amp and the gain is at like 3/4

I ordered it off amazon and the box it came in said the sub was a 600w sub. And the the box the amp with the wiring came in said the amp was a 1000rms
