    This is the way I re-string my Stratocaster which is a technique I learned from Dave Lee
    (Guitar Technician for John Frusciante).
    Hope you enjoy! 🤘🏼

    One tip: if cleaning and hydration is not necessary, it is better to take one string at a time and replace it with the new one so that the neck does not lose all the tension that the strings produce at once

    This is not how John Frusciante strings his guitar, you completely missed the over under on G and under over under on B and E

    Máximo 3 vueltas en las cuerdas gruesas y 4 en las finas así te duran más aunque no parezca es cierto...

      I'm actually not sure which intro jam that is from! There's some awesome videos on TH-cam of all the RHCP intro jams. You should check it out 😊

    Is that a polyurethane finish? It Looks like it. Looks like you took a saw to it. You should get a heat gun and remove the polyurethane finish. You can buy nitrocellulose lacquer and paint your guitar yourself. Then it will naturally start showing that nice worn in look. I did it to a strat of mine. I painted it LAKE PLACID BLUE. It really did make a big BIG difference. Cheers.

    What kind of fretboard cleaner do you use? I use lemon oil as a conditioner. Is that good and a cleaner or is there a better option

    • @davyholden

      To be honest I never use a particular one. Im not fussy. Whichever brand will do the job!

    Nice but only one point, John play 11-46 Dave Lee talk about it, in the comments of the video you showed at the end. Besides, if you plan to make a video of the tones that he uses on each song, we are very interested ^^

      Really? I've heard John say XL 10.46 on a couple occasions. But if you've heard otherwise maybe im wrong.

    Frusiante doesent use the high E he actually uses 2 B strings so 11-11-17-26-36-46....very wierd!:)

      Really ?

    • @leandrofod
      @leandrofod 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think you misinterpreted that info. He uses .10 gauge strings on all his guitars (except the Gretsch which he uses .12), but only the high E is .11 so he doesn't break it as often
