I only recently discovered that the Forged to Fight video game uses Titans Return Soundwave for both regular and Shattered Glass Soundwave. Both in G1 blue!
This figure was awesome. I couldn’t leave it alone when I first got it in 2016 because I couldn’t stop playing with it. But alas, it wasn’t forever. I sold it in a yard sale to save up for another Soundwave figure that caught my eye. THE ONE AND ONLY SIEGE SOUNDWAVE (aka the greatest g1 soundwave figure of all time, maybe except the mp13 tho)
That inner panel for the base mode scope is there, it's just tricky to flip up cause you can't push it from the outside, and it's tricky to get a nail or something under to pull it forward. But it IS there.
I need this in my life so badly. I can see all his minions out and about his base mode. This Soundwave is probably the best mainline Soundwave ever released. Of course it doesn't beat the Takara/TRU MP, or even the Music Label, but I need this. NEED.

On my Soundwave the peg where the shoulder canon goes on was wwwwaaaaaayyyyy to big for the hole on the shoulder canon, also I subscribed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Siege Soundwave, Superior. Titans Return Soundwave, Inferior. That being said, there's still something fun about this guy. I love the base mode and how Titan Masters can interact with it.

I picked up this figure last night (Along with Astrotrain) and my one complaint is there is no place to store the headmaster in boom box mode. I ended up just tossing it in one of the leg compartments since there was room, but I would have preferred somewhere a bit more secure.
This figure hasn't been released at all in my local stores. In fact, the only new figures I last saw were astrotrain and alpha trion. Wolfwire, mindwipe, chromedome, and highbrow, I saw them at walgreens! WALGREENS!!! I also saw brainstorm but I got him. Blaster is available in a good quantity, but powermaster prime usually has only ONE figure left in the shelves. The toysrus website recently had twinferno, but it's probably gonna be as hard to find as the other ones. While I have to struggle searching and waiting, everybody else can get them easily from bbts, or other stores. The only reason why I don't buy on bbts is because last time I checked the figures were overpriced. So, can't solve anything that way either. Hasbro should really do a well done schedule to release their toys. They want people to buy their toys, but they don't release them to normal retail and instead to a few people on the internet?
Oh my god, thank goodness for WFC and beyond, and thank goodness for BMAC, Evan, and Marc Mehar, so we dont get toys that look anywhere near this bad anymore.
a neat bit of trivia for you trivia buffs out there twin cast and i believe soundblaster the names of soundwave and blasters headmasters are the names of their power up repaints from the japanese series transformers headmasters
I'm really happy that there is a new Soundwave figure but I just really wish that he had a red visor and that he could hold his normal tapes besides that yeah this figure seems pretty amazing I just hope I can get it for kind of cheap somewhere
Soundwave could of have been given a gun that looked more like the G1 show. I don't know why that any of the more recent Soundwave figures could pull that off.
I don't like how big his speakers are in tape deck mode. Other than that, Leader seems like a large size class for Soundwave; I would have preferred a Voyager mold. Definitely not bad by any stretch, but not perfect.
So the low down. Titan Masters are what happens when Mr. Headmaster and Miss Brainmaster get together and not use a condom, plus their offspring can transform into Micromaster bases for no reason, Nice to see Hasbro is still being original. :D
I own TR Blaster and MP Soundwave. So it's a pass for me. But any Soundwave fan who missed out on MP Soundwave nor want to spend the cash on a MP should defenitely get that TR leader.
I feel his boom box mode lack some paint apps unless they are going for the speaker look that has the cloth over it. The lamp post mode was funny though
Soundwave looks good. I might get him myself. But I would like a Soundwave that doesn't have any gimmicks other than the six cassettes. (Lazerbeak, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, Buzzsaw, and Ratbat) The boom box idea was cool. As for the weapon, I am sure everyone would prefer a small Megatron. Lastly, it would have to be much cheaper than any masterpiece. All we ask. Is it that hard for a multi-million dollar company?
This actually seems like a good figure. The thing that kills it for me is the stupid Titan master gimmick. I've never been a fan of head masters and seeing characters like Soundwave and Optimus Prime with that gimmick just feels wrong
I had this figure but the problem is that you can't flip that panel but my one manage to flip it up that's because it is very hard and attached and lock very well in the end it will be hard to get out.
Soundwave couldn't quite steal the mold from Blaster (the way the Fall of Cybertron Blaster totally swiped it from Soundwave), but it does look pretty nice. Personally, I'm not keen on this one (and I didn't really like this iteration of Blaster); the mold just doesn't do it for me. Plus, I've been trying to avoid the new tape/mp3 player critters, anyway. I'll just hunt down the old War For Cybertron Deluxe Soundwave...and boom, kill two birds with one stone: a cool Soundwave figure, and G1 toy accuracy with a Blaster (FoC Voyager) who's bigger...yesss.

the takara verison has the red visor and some improvements but the price is WAY jacked up
