As I do every time, here’s my REVIEW: From an overall perspective, it’s always a pleasure to listen to you psalmon. You have a talent for emotion that is unmatched. Now, if I focus on the idea which is a concept album for an existing group, I like to highlight the tracks that fall into this perfect sweet spot where it sounds like something the group could venture into but they have not done yet. Now, maybe this is my fantasy. But I love to imagine the group in the producers room and them hearing your tracks for the first time. I think Plastic and Pop are truly the one who would get the girls go crazy (I mean, it even got me go crazy). The thing is aespa has done a lot of the metallic and weird sound + the crazy song structure. But everything has been under… restraint, if I may say. What you have achieved with this EP is that they go completely crazy. It has the signature + plus the insanity that the girls have not tapped into yet.
I just have to say-this is phenomenal! 🤯 The way you blend hyperpop with so much emotion is mind-blowing, like it hits on every level! (If aespa put this out, it’d be my instant favorite.) And the narration adding a storyline for the audience? It made everything feel so personal and even more emotional 😭Thank you for sharing this masterpiece! All the songs are so good and creative! ✨ My absolute favorites were "Beautiful" and "Heart2Heart",I don’t know how, but they felt so nostalgic . The switch-up in "Plastic" totally caught me off guard ,I didn’t expect it, but it was such a creative way to end the song. It left such a lasting impression on me, and I loved it! I vibe with "Pop" so much 🫠 I’m obsessed with the concert concept! 💗 The aesthetic, the graphics, the visuals, and the writing all came together beautifully to let us imagine the scenarios behind the songs. "Journey2" gave off this super inspiring energy,like, I can do it and never give up! 💪✨ It felt like the perfect ending, just like the closing scene of an anime or a movie where the hero gets all the strength from his supporters ,such a good song to end a concert. It captured that sense of empowerment and courage from The journey by Mary Oliver so well. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this! 💕 P.S. Kyumon is soooo cute!!

I’m having a hard time picking an absolute fave this time but it has to be between plastic, heart2heart, and journey 2. I’m having a hard time picking an absolute fave this time but it has to be between plastic, heart2heart, and journey 2. I would absolutely love to see aespa do something like this in the future, you did such a great job of refreshing their sound in a way that’s still recognizable to them while still being unique and new. I hope you’re proud of how this one came out bc it really feels like a totally realized and polished final product
