Yes, there is so much potential for many of these places to be fixed up and revived, especially with so many people wanting to drive old route 66 these days.
Check out Wildlife West natuire park in Edgewood New mexico which is right on route 66 there's a good new mexican food place (mexican) in the plaza by the cross roads.
Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend too many stops along Route 66 in New Mexico, even the locals warned us not to stop. I think Tucumcari was probably the best stop on that state’s section of 66.
@@kevinflaherty6028 We were also warned about the moving trucks, and were told not to leave our RV unattended anywhere besides an RV park. It's a sad situation that area is in.
Thanks 👍
Tucumcari is one cool stop 😃 Happy travels 👍
Thank you!
I love the word cute so much with a burning passion!
The murals throughout Route 66 are something we always seek out to take photos with.
😂👍👏👏
Nice❤️🌿🎶🎼😽

I'm going to Albuquerque in October 2024
A lot of practical info, thanks for sharing!
Great video. I love the coverage of all the iconic hotels. Great music as well.
Thank you so much!
I’ve never#seen Old Town that empty! I wonder when you were there.
We were there in 2021 when things were just starting to reopen, that’s why it was so empty.

Thank you, I love getting recommendations and I will add both of those to my notes of places to visit.
Have you ever aten at a Route 66 themed diner?
Too loud with the music.
Do you like Winnie the Pooh? If so who's your favorite character and why? Mine is Pooh cause he's just so cute!
It has a different feel that it is like one of those diseased cities in California. It has a lot of crime. Just drive through and don't stop.

Shame wanted to move to Albuquerque, but hesitant because heard of the crime being high especially stealing moving trucks staying there overnight.
