Even those kicks which this guy has presented as kalari kicks are borrowed from other asian martial arts. India is huge country and 95% people knows that every part of the world has their own martial arts so martial arts was not originated in a single place. Please don't think everyone from India are dumb.

There is more to what meets the eye about kalari. I once fought a master of kalaripayattu who came from Kerala and was meditating in Himachal, i fought him and my krav maga and systemma was useless in front of him, even with the intent to kill, I couldn't damage him. I asked him what martial arts he was using and he said kalaripayattu and I was shocked cuz I've never seen kalari like that and he told me that there is more to kalari than they teach in gurukuls. He punched me in the chest and liver at the same time and I was out. It was first time in my life as a military martial expert who can kill anyone that I suffered humiliating defeat. What you know is just 70% of the 25% known kalaripayattu, the rest 75% is what I've seen in that man and it was magnificent

Kyokushin roundhouse kick is executed the same way you did the kalari roundhouse kick. The knee is taken wide and is really powerful. It is in sports or non contact styles knee is taken from front and their kick generates slightly low power.

Muay thai kicks are the best..you use instep(foot) while doing karate kicks.if somone blocks it with his shin bone itll break ur foot.on the other end muay thai kicks they use shin bone.shin bone can be conditioned to make it hard like stone.which makes it even more dangerous.

Can u .. post a vdo on ... Real kalari fights (not those demonstrate ones) ... I am a taekwondo ... Practitioner ... ( Black belt ) ... I practices both ... Kyorugi ( kumite ) and poomsae ( kata) ... When I perform kata / poomsae I feel .. like ... These things ... Are useless .. till ... We stand two people in a ring and say them to fight using these techniques ...
So kalari ... Is mother of all martial. .. but we haven't seen any .... Deadly tournament like kyokushin karate ... Mma Muay Thai ... Where we can ... See the level of fighters and that particular martial arts ..

There is no "best martial art" as all of them have their own pros and cons. Time it takes to learn an availablity also is a factor.
However, Kalaripayatu appears to be quite good. It needs to be pressure tested though.
