Driving around Driftwood, Texas (dreaming of bbq)

Driftwood is an unincorporated town that was settled around the 1890's. It's located between Austin, Dripping Springs, and Wimberley. There isn't really a town center in Driftwood, so you end up driving around from place to place throughout the Texas Hill Country. The Old Texaco Store is a popular first stop for some photos. Salt Lick BBQ 0:57 can serve up some famous BBQ brisket and ribs with some unique German potato salad. Trattoria Lisina is really popular for their great food, but the line was long there as well, so I ended up going to Texas Homegrown Market at Ghost Note Brewing where I found a po' boy at Betty Mae's food truck, along with some Dublin Craft Soda. Texas String Assembly was playing on the stage there. Mercer Dancehall 2:34 is located nearby, and I ended up going there after the gig at Wimeberley Inn + Bar, where Fingerpistol was playing. Good times.
