Loved the slight comedy moment as you wrestled with the fully extended hose. This looks like a practical design, especially for people who might not be able to have the hose go through an external wall.
I have had this dryer today and testing it out It drys so much quicker than my old faithful white knight condenser dryer witch was 10 and a half years old before it died... 😐 I owned a dryer exactly like this one before except it was Creda excel 3kg model and I can’t believe that 10 and a half years later they still look exactly the same and sound the same and look pretty similar just a hotpoint Creda or Indesit label slapped on the front of them! They was right to keep building them the same way they been built the last 20 years as there reliable quick little things 💯👌 but I have a 8kg washing machine so can’t fit it all in one loads will have to be two loads as not enough room but doesn’t bother me as don’t dry everything in it as it shrinks a lot of nice clothes so lesson learned Over the years lol. These are great simple small reliable dryers I owned 1 years ago and now I gone back to it. is a bit strange going from a 7kg condenser dryer back to a small air vented one but like I said I don’t put everything in there so it doesn’t matter to me. It’s drys so much better and quicker than my old one and same energy rating a c like my old one to. I live on my own so this is great for that and quick. Just got to make sure the pipe is out of a window or it will make the room damp and mouldy after a few months so don’t do it put it by a window. And condenser box’s are c*^p... don’t bother just use a window or door or stick it in a garage or shed won’t matter then. That’s my advice on this dryer anyway 👍
I had an electra, which I was still using up and till now, and it was made in the 1970s ! And I just bought this one and it's almost identical! So 50 years of making them. I think the electra name was actually made by Indesit in the 70s. I love this type of dryer as it's so quick to dry stuff and simple controls, not a fan of the digital cr£p too much to go wrong,
can you please tell me if there are any other dyers up to 50 cm width/wide? don't like this one, the hose is connected to the front of the dryer? its ridicolous ehhe. thank you! your're doing service for the community.
@@lords-electrical Really thank you so much for your reply... I bought second hand 4kg Indesit tumbler dryer .... The buyer didn't give me the vent hose pipe... Is it safe to run without hose? Or else I need to buy and attach the vent hose pipe. Pls let me know
@tamileswaran8278 you don't have to use the vent hose but the room it's in could get moist I would recommend buying a hose to put on the front and try and direct the air outside
You don't have to attach the hose, but the advantage of attaching the hose is you can direct the air outside. If you don't use the hose then you will get a very warm and moist room in which the dryer is operating.
I have one of these small dryers with door vent... I take out the filter and clean after every use.. but there is still fluff caught inside the door.. Too fiddly with arthritic fingers to get inside.
Hi, great video, I've just bought one of these, it's great, drys really quick so you don't use loads of electric, really good and simple so less to go wrong, ive just got rid of my old 1970s electra which weirdly similar in nearly all respects! and its worked for all this time! but hose is not long enough I need more, what size do I buy please, I've tried measuring but just not sure can you help thanks lots, PS isnt that the air intake at the back? Look forward and hope I can get an answer. :-)
Do u have to keep putting the vent tube on front of the dryer i always open my back door put the dryer there just that u can't be buying vent tubes all the time if they come a part i had one for 45years that was great a creada don't if i have spell it right.
This design has been around for years from Indesit and Hotpoint. Zanussi used to make a small dryer with a rear vent but it made it a lot deeper and was a pain to put the vent outside if you wanted to connect it each time
Would rather have vent hose at the back so wouldn't buy this model. I used to own a small white knight dryer years ago and that had rear vent hose and the dryer was same size.
His velvety voice and then the cheeky little sticker...always give him a thumbs up!
His videos are always just the right length with all the info you’ll need - highly recommend thank you for making them
Thanks very much x

Always nice to have a good length to work with.

Unfortunately this is the main compact dryer that i know about that we can get hold of.
@@lords-electrical thank you!
Can you confirm if this dryer has reverse tumble? I didn't hear it in the video but it's massively important - ta
It has a very small 4kg load size for these days, my 15 year old Bosch integrated had a 5kg load!
How do you stop hose from coming/breaking away from the dryer door vent mine is always doing this and showing metal
My dryer did the same dryer great but the tube came away god job I am under warranty did it the same day I got the dryer come off.
I got one the other day 30 Oct dryer great but the tube didn't last 5mins have to order another one. The dryer before had it 45years.
Hi, May i know when to connect the hose pipe during drying the cloths. I mean after the dry or beginning
The hose is connected before you start the drying process. This way any warm moist air will exit the dryer during the drying phase via the hose.

@@ASMR_Andy it's really helpful... Thank you 😊
Would love to know how to fix the dial on this one!
Do u have to attach the hose? Or can the air just come out of the front without it?

Yes some of these models can suffer with that, where the filter doesn't catch all of the fluff and that can be annoying.

Thanks very informative!
Can this tumble dryer be wall hung/mounted as my two previous, almost identical models have been?
There isn't a wall bracket designed for this but there's nothing stopping somebody making a bracket for it for you

Ideally you do want to have the vent hose pointing outside so the warm air isn't in your room.
Great information thanks a million
Thankyou...lovely clear information.
You’re welcome 😊
How to set up it from where can i put water
MY Friend Has That Vented Door Dryer
Do you guys sell spare parts? I’m looking for parts for a Miele S5211, power switch and related foot pedal, thanks in advance
Unfortunately we don't sell any spare parts, sorry.
It would have been helpful for you to switch it on so we could hear the noise level
Why does the hose come out the front doesn’t look good, maybe just for space reasons but not very practical if you want to keep it connected.
