Hits the floor then it hits the trash 🗑 that's the rule with aviation spark plugs
God help u if it was an expensive fine wire plug 🔌 ❤😂

What did you guys do about the impulse coupling on the left mag? Did you snap it before lining up the red mark in the mag?

I know my mechanic was taking care of that part. I know it was a pain to get right, and through the magic of editing things seemed to go smoothly. We had to take it off a few times to reset the position, but eventually got it.

There's something fishy about aviation engines. They're so rudimentary so expensive and how come my Lexus isn't using this design?

I know right!? It's the FAAs fault really, and how certification of new engines and technologies works. It's expensive to say the least. BUT, your Lexus isn't running at max HP all the time, otherwise you would be driving around at 5400 RPM non stop. These old engines have proven reliable running at full power for hours on end without exploding. I would LOVE to see some of our automotive tech get into the aviation space though. It could change the industry.
I want to see gas electric. So like a lawn mower engine generating electricity to run a electric motor. THAT would bring serious reliability and lower fuel consumption.
