  • A 1/8HP VFD runs a 3 phase 230V 1/20HP motor. The VFD is powered by single phase, 120V input, and outputs 230V 3 phase. The wiring to the motor is temporary until I get proper cables.
    More specs of VFD:
    Name: GE Fuji Electric
    Model: AF-300 mini series
    Frequency range: 0-400Hz
Carrier frequency range: 750Hz to 15kHz
    Rated current: 0.7A (output)
    V/Hz mode only (scaler torque)
    More specs of Blower:
    Name: Dayton Blowers
    Model: 3HMJ5
    Voltage range: (208-230V)
    current: 0.45/0.35A
    RPM: 1410/1630
    Airflow: 257.6cfm at 60Hz
Ignore the mess in the background.

Nothing else is really needed to connect to the vfd; the only thing else I had to do was program it (which for the most part it was already preset out of the box). I could connect an external potentiometer and switch but those were already included in the vfd.

what signals other than 120v to the vfd and 230v from the vfd to the blower are needed?

Where did you get that blower from, what's the model?

Lincoln Continental Hello, the blower that I used was a Dayton model # 3HMJ5. I bought the blower used on eBay for around $40.
