Ummm.... they're ALWAYS showing their teeth and hissing in the comics , they're depicted as feral , asshole monsters. One of the ways they do that is by showing you a circle for a mouth with nothing but teeth , saliva dripping from them , little comic style wording or likeness beside them to give you a notion of what they sound like or how they behave. They are anything BUT subtle in the comics. However , whereas I disagree you with you on that one , respectfully , the way you explained certain other aspects of the way the movie presented itself as opposed to the comics , really clicked for me. I should note I was already a fan of the source material. For instance , if they would've included the son flying into Barrow , the whole notion of him filming them in action before Vincente noticed him ... what if the son was included in the movie but DIDNT like he did know in the comic , that they existed ? So he's flying into Barrow on a whim for his mother , and then he actually sees it , he sees the carnage , he pulls the fucking camera out and stats filming ... but of course , Vincente notices him. That adds weight to the existing survivors , it makes their situation seem more hopeless , thereby adding more tension to the film , and you could even have his mother listening as it happens so it cuts back to her in New Orleans as she just sits there and the tears fill up in her eyes and its like this big , empty , quiet room. All she has is her knowledge of their existence , in which her son never believed her until the last moment but was so adamant about this attack on Alaska because as you know she knows before it even happens in the comics. Holy shit.
Rotten Tomatoes score is just stupid. This movie is at least 85%. It's damn good.
Damm that movie scared me and I watched it before sleep
77 subs? About to make it 78
I appreciate that so much! Good news is, I'm getting back to making more videos!
@@genregeeks4791 glad to hear it!
Another great episode. Thanks for the shout out at the end. You mispronounced my last name but I'll let it slide. 👍
