Hi i live in Greece+ have 2 enduro + 1 adv bike. Ridden thousands of trails including parts of the TET. In July/August off road riding generally stops because it is very dangerous because of heat.I can see you are struggling even to make a simple turn and constantly saying it is very hot.If you get too hot your body/sweat will no longer have the ability to cool you down and you may collapse with heat exhaustion.Nobody will know where you are unless you use a Garmin Inreach or similar. You have no food ,are tired and exhausted, ride down a hill without knowing if you can get back up it!!The most important thing!! Please people dont try this in the high summer in Greece alone. You need pro instruction for many things before attempting this, not just a big shiny ADV bike and a YT channel. I am NOT being nasty just hoping to save people from serious danger.
@@nickg2431 Nick, you don't know me, you don't know my past or the circumstances I ended up over here. Your comment is quite harsh even though I admit that I failed. I do not want nobody to ride the way I did and that one more reason this video is here. Cheers mate 🤜🤛

Hi Nemo! Thank you so much for the almost live update!❤ I understand it is a lot of work to post it like that, thanks for that! I'm sure at the moment you regret not traveling on the PRJ... 🙂 I travelled for 3 years in the inner deserts of Australia; summer and winter and I know for a fact heat stroke is to be taken seriously; your brain overheats, shuts down and you can easily die...! So take care how much effort/work you do during hot days. Why not travel very early in the morning and than just stop & rest after 13h? I love the outfit & gear you travel with; tent, vest, minimal luggage,... I myself probably would not use so many camera's (you even brought a drone) and put the Motoz tires on a lighter bike and maybe not use the Gaerne's. The Garne's are really safe but you can barely walk in them and I would like something more in between myself. Thanks for showing us the difficulties of off road travel on an adventure "pig" (heavy bike). I use a 2020 Husqvarna 701 Long range myself; not ideal too, but 154kg is less than 210kg... 🙂 Have a great adventure trip and drive safe! PS if you pass along Brussels, coming back, let me know; you can stay at my place here, if you wish.
Het, Peter I love reading your detailed comments. Thanks! This is gonna be only one "almost live" video this year. The rest will come later in the fall. It took me all day yesterday to edit this part, cause I wanna make sure I am not making mistakes. Darn, when my bike was down over there I thought that's it. I nearly even remember filming everything with my pulse hitting 180 bpm. But the lesson is learned. Traveling early in the morning sounds like an option, but I don't wanna set the alarm, cause I am a late-night person. But I see now, where I am going, the temperature gonna hit 40, that means for the nights I will have to move to the mountains. I had the drone even last year, but it was bigger and after using it only one time, I ended up leaving it back in Lithuania after the bike swap. I think that drone brings more fun and a different perspective to the videos. And it is very light ( the mini 4 pro 250g) I just need to master follow mode, cause that causes my brain to scream :D I think I could have gotten away with Gaerne 10th, but my budget is over-stretched this year and I know some travelers that had their legs broken with Alpine tech 7 th. Well better be safe than sorry and I've got used to them even I definitely hear you on that. yep the PR7 definitely would have been a better choice if I could have shipped it here. Only one thing, the purpose of this trip is to get the aftermarket tank installed at the Aurora Rally facilities. Since that is not gonna happen until the 6th of August I've decided to do some crazy rides. Will see how is that gonna work. A huge thank you for the offer! But I will be riding back through Lithuania. Over there we are designing a new sticker set for the bike with the new tank so I have to get there ASAP, after the tank installation. Great video, well done to you for knowing when to quit before you died or got seriously hurt and stuck alone in the nowhere - maybe on gravel or tarmac you are ok on this behemoth but for off road such as TET greece/Romania and other hard ones i have to say that you have clearly over biked yourself in a big way, don't take offence but you should have stuck with the PR7 for such a trip, that already had way more potential than you could give but at least was more manageable for you.
