In the test of phenol with FeCl3 you first told that Fe+3 reduces to Fe+2 but in final complex formed the Oxidation state of iron is same
So we have to consider it as a redox reaction or not??🤔

I think only phenol and enols give that test
I think acetate ion test is done in presence of neutral fecl3 to give blood red colour ppt
But as far as organic is concerned this might be enough because I trust mka sir more than I trust me
