Hey Jang, not sure I understand your comment at 4:22? The only other C-3PO figure with that leg dual-moulded (the one from the UCS Luke’s Landspeeder) also had grey dual-moulding, not silver. It appears to be the exact same minifigure.

Only non 18+ sets get the 25th figure and I think the only reason why the current R2 isn’t 18+ is so it doesn’t get confused with the bigger previous 18+ R2 which is still on shelves. It’s all marketing rules. But imagine another KOTOR figure with this.

Also getting the now not so exclusive silver leg minifig is nice and saving $100 by not buying Luke's Landspeeder. Its also convinced me to actually get the new R2 to go along with it after the promotional images. Now I dont have to go out of my way just for the Malik figure which I suppose is nice.

The parts count reference is definitely deliberate they did the same with The Amazing Spider-Man Art set having specifically 2099 pcs a reference to the Miguel O'Hara Spider-Man. For LEGO this 3CPO is PERFECT the quality/shaping on this is insane. And he scales with the R2D2. TAKE MY MONEY. 140 is fair in my opinion i didn't expect it to be any less.
But-his-face appears to be a growing pattern with these brick built statues starting with Chewbacca (and the Mona Lisa but that’s a different category). I think the eyes really bother me here. Wonder if a 3rd party will create some custom parts to fix him.
I think he looks good, but I'm mainly waiting to finally see what the Jaws set looks like. That's the one I'll drive 6 hours to my closest Lego store to get. I'm kinda hoping that will have a special GWP to go with it.

The minifigure leg print is the most crooked I've ever seen from Lego, and they used it in product images xD. God this got me scared for the actual sets

Lego just has a hard time doing large scale faces. They never turn out right. I know from experience that building faces at scales like that are really tricky, but if they just spent a little more time trying out different things and having a few different people work on it they could definitely make better faces for their large scale characters than what we keep getting.
There's very few flaws (the face and that too short chin) but once you see them it's hard to look past them. They were very close to greatness on that one.

Its good overall, but the eyes and mouth bug me...Youre not alone on that Jang You keep saying by "today's standard", and the truth is that overpriced is "todays standard". Just go grocery shopping and you'll see.

My eye is immediately drawn to that mouth piece and the first thought is “ooof that looks weird”

Looks great but I wouldn't pay 140 bucks for any set that size. LEGO really needs to restructure their pricing to make it accessible for people again.

The buildable figurine works so much better robotic things. I don't normally buy Star War stuff but this is making me consider.
The Chewbacca everyone balked at is in this same scale too! Really excited for this one
The face is off, but at that scale, you can't have it perfect, and it scales very well with R2-D2, the droid duo is complete!

eyes need to be Recessed, not Protruding. Looks too much like Minon's goggles, can't unsee.

One of Lucas' first movies was THX-1138 with Robert Duvall and Donald Pleasence in 1971. This number shows up a LOT in his following movies.
