    Thanks for being critical and honest in this review! These companies needs to be aware of the flaws as much as whatever they do right so as to give us better products. No Local Dimming while VRR is active on such an expensive flagship TV in 2022 is indeed very disappointing especially when they had delayed VRR for more than 2 years since the X900H.
    We need more reviewers like you, RTINGS and HDTVTest who are speaking for the consumers more than the manufacturers.

    Yes it's enough!!!! I purchased the 65", and I love everything about it. Fantastic color, along with a great speaker system, I don't even want a sound bar with this set!! I paid $2,795.00 at Best Buy, but a week after I purchased it, it came down $300.00. I joined the Best Buy points club, and I'll be getting over $200.00 credit for this purchase. So in the end I would have paid about $2,100.00 for this set, a real bargain. I had money down on a Samsung, but after a lot of reading, and talking to a few video fanatics, I decided to go with the Sony, and I'm glad I did!! Oh!! the sound is great without a sound bar!! Screw the competition, you guys read too much into things!!

    I own a 75" X95k and its an absolute beauty!!! Nicely mentioned about the gaming, for the past time gamers like me, this TV looks great, but for hardcore gamers its better to try something else. Watching Movies and sports on this TV are on an other level. 75" and 85" has very very minimal blooming and totally a different TV than compared to 65", but the off angles definitely suffer a bit, but hardly I see people sitting off angle when they are enjoying the TV. Definitely waiting for this TV to go against the QN90B. Hope the firmware updates might change the minimal defects this TV has. The XR process and Master backlit are doing wonders in both HDR and dolby vision content. You can only find issues with this X95K , when you definitely want to find one, and if you are a movie and sport lover, you will enjoy this TV as its much much closer to OLED. The two downsides for this TV :
    1. Its tooooo expensive, with the tax it comes around $4100-$4200 (75" TV), for the price point this TV should be flawless in gaming too, which is not.
    2. Man oh Man, its very very heavy. Be careful and have this mounted by the professionals when you are buying one.

    Hello, what do you think of the 85X90CL vs the 85X95K?
    I currently have the 85X90CL, and I stream 99.99% of the time, but I'm considering buying a PS5 for Black Friday. I like the X90CL because of its clarity and colors, but I wouldn't mind if it was brighter, had better blacks, and less blooming 😁.
    Is the 85X95K for $2,600 + mini-led+ more dimming zones worth considering over the 85X90CL for $2,000+ 5 year free warranty + XR Clear?.

    Hey Caleb! I’m a fan from Pakistan and admire your reviews as they are straight to point out of the box. Being a TV reviewer is a hassle in 2022 as you still can’t check all the boxes even for a price. Can you guide me why TCL doesn’t ship out ‘R’ and ‘Q’ series in Pakistan or South-Asia? We tend to get ‘P’ and ‘C’ (worst series) that savvy reviewers like you don’t or can’t review. Hold me back from pulling the trigger. Love your work!

    They're asking way too much money for this tv ATM, the price needs to go down
    Also, they need a big local dimming update. Because lower end sets like the h9g have a better local dimming feature in my opinion. That's laughable

    I can't imagine why someone would opt for the $3,800 75" X95K as opposed to the $4,200 77" LG G2 OLED, or really the older series of OLEDS that you could get. I ventured the LCD route (X90J) due to wanting a TV to stand up to daylight, mainly for Sunday football, but could not stand the blooming in particular when subtitles would appear or if you were sitting off-axis. Ended up biting the bullet and getting a 77" A80J and have never had a regret in that purchase.

    • @lonniechamberlain251
      @lonniechamberlain251 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The reason why anyone would opt for an LED over OLED. BRIGHTNESS. Sony understands that as long as the current OLED’s are on the market, there will still be a need for TV’s who exceed their brightness but also gives you near OLED black levels.

    • @trevorburns91
      @trevorburns91 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lonniechamberlain251 The fact that the LG G2 can get to 1,000 nits on a 10% window is pretty impressive and solves a lot of the issues most user will have, but I understand your point. My personal experience was that the brightness gain from LCD was heavily overshadowed by the drawbacks of the technology - and I had to pay roughly double to get the OLED! Again, for a $400 difference I'd opt for the G2 every day of the week and again on Sunday.

    • @loki76
      @loki76 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      People getting a MiniLED does so for a reason. OLED is not an option for them. Also only OLED that really hangs is the S95B.

    • @vinniethegreat9645
      @vinniethegreat9645 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@trevorburns91 The LCDs still get a lot brighter especially when you start talking more than %10. For example the QN90b does about 2100 nits at 2% and over 2000 nits at 10%. %100 window is 655nits sustained. The LG G2 only hits 171 nits at %100 window. That's a HUGE difference in brightness. Not to mention running an OLED near max brightness will cause much faster panel aging/burn in. I've seen the high end LCDs and OLEDS side by side and the LCDs more than held their own.
