I was just going to one concert, so I knew what she sounded like live, since I was so used to hearing her voice through recordings, and I ended up getting a third-row ticket and truly ended up getting addicted to her voice, to the point where I know I'm going to try and go buy more tickets for her future concerts. ❤

Like the greatest artists, and I'd argue more than any current vocalists Im aware of, your comments tie in with my 'take' on her extraordinary performances. I think her very 'person'/ego disappears when performing. That's why her performances at such a young age seemed totally incongruous as well as amazing. Of course a seven year old cannot sing 'like that' , when she sang those classic jazz ballads, and in a way she the little girl never did sing, it is as if she effectively and instinctively dissolves the ego allowing the purest spirit of the music to emerge. Her vocal ability moulded by the very music itself as it emerges.

If you think she sounds great on these videos, studio recordings, etc. then just wait till you hear her live 30 feet from you!! 81 years old and I cried (with joy) like a baby thru most of the concert, especially thru Unchained Melody! Every song sounded better than they do listening to her on the internet, but this one and Unchained Melody sounded like nothing I have ever heard before. Most that I have talked to or read commits from say the same as I do - Unchained Melody was the best performance of the song I have ever heard! And that is saying a lot since it is my all time favorite song, I heard/ watched Bobby Hatfield sing it live singing it on the Andy Williams show in 1965 and I loved Elvis' version even thou he was sick! But what Angelina did with that song was nothing like anything I had ever heard before! Oh, and she just released a new "BANGER" last night!! It is great and most definitly should hit $1!
