I love both this live version & her recent studio version, but this is the 1st time I prefer the studio version. I usually prefer her live performances, but then this was the 2nd take with only a minute or two between the 2. Apparently there was a technical problem with the recording of the first, so they asked her to immediately sing it again.

I Have Nothing is a famously challenging iconic song. By singing this song 3 times in live concert and 1 time in studio so authoritatively, Angelina is making this song her signature. I am an Angleina fan of an older generation and appreciate her song selection of so many classics. But I am also becoming a fan of Daneliya Tuleshova, who tends to cover more contemporary singers such as Aurora. Two 16 year old superstars in the same generation. We have so much to look forward to.

I belive this was Angelina's 4th year performing here, first time was just after she'd won nOrway's Got Talent at age 8, when she performed "What A Difference A day Makes". Who does that (regardless of whether one is 16yo or not)? And what was her last number (of 18)? This (I Have Nothing)! Who holds this song to the end of a concert?! At this concert you reacted to, Angelina was asked to perform "I Have Nothing" twice back-to-back because there was some sound/recording mixup so this was the second of two. What you saw was Angelina's second performance. Few singers could have sung I Have Nothing so well back-to-back ---- Understandable why you reacted to the Norwegian TV 2 published video on TH-cam. Unfortunately TV 2 appears to have processed the broadcast master by, I believe, -24 LUFS (sometimes TH-cam will also process a video by -13 to -15 LUFS) and also looks to have downgraded the dynamic range a little. Referring to Angelina's fan appeal you might find it interesting that her July 10 concert of 18 songs had originals that spanned 8 of the last 9 decades! Who does that (regardless of whether one is 16yo or not)? And what was her last number (of 18)? This (I Have Nothing)! Who holds this song to the end of a concert?!
At this concert you reacted to, Angelina was asked to perform "I Have Nothing" twice back-to-back because there was some sound/recording mixup so this was the second of two.
And by the way, you are a beautiful young woman, but here it seemed your lighting was unusual and seemed too bright or something.

AJ is something very special. Better saddle up and get yourself to Norway next summer, there will be more concerts I bet 😄 Angelina was so grateful and happy to be on stage and sing again after the covid break, tears of joy streamed down her cheeks. Watching Angelina on stage we have to remind ourselves she is only 16 but is in her 10th year of being on stage. Can't even imagine how she will sound in another 10 years. I’m sorry I only saw the last few minutes of your live. I had to wait for YT to post this so I could chime in. As a singer yourself I really appreciate your reactions to Angelina. You have a beautiful voice and also have qualms about promoting other artists. Angelina is special. I enjoy so many great performers and great music, all kinds. Over my almost 73 years I’ve gotten emotional several times even on true classical music to hard rock, but never like this young lady gets me.

Unfortunately TV 2 appears to have processed the broadcast master by, I believe, -24 LUFS (sometimes TH-cam will also process a video by -13 to -15 LUFS) and also looks to have downgraded the dynamic range a little. Phenom? Sorry, but few have an ear to hear and Angelina would not even make the cut if trying out for my HS. choir. And that was 45 years ago. She cannot sing on pitch to save her life. Good thing in her favor is, her pitch is better than Taylor Swift. She is the worst ever. If not for auto tune, she would not have a record deal. Just saying.
