After watching M9 review, it would be more luxury to live in the car than most houses 😅
The majority of Chinese people want innovation and quality not overpriced german old tech with cheap plastic interiors that squeaks and rattles all over the place.
The BMW X5 is still a good car, but it is not as good as the M9, especially considering what they offer at the same price.

Background: Baerbock (German foreign minister )caused the stir when she referred to Chinese President Xi Jinping as a "dictator" in an interview with US cable network Fox News on September 14 2023.
Not sure if that has much to do with German car sales decline in China but Germany doesn't have any vision except that of US, that's for sure.

As a Merc owner who has been driving German cars for the last 13 years, I agree with this video. The like of BMW and Merc were special, Lexus was challenging it, but no one else had that sweet spot, now Chinese are so good and with very reasonable price, you gotta be both rich and stupid to buy a German car over a Chinese one.

The Huawei is light years ahead of the BMW
X5 price is 730k RMB plus 10% ICE sales tax, M9 price is 470k RMB with no sales tax. This it’s no brainer to buy the much better M9.

BMW X5 costs 630 000rmb and now discount is 100 000rmb = 530 000rmb
Huawei M9 (5seats verson) costs 529 000 rmb (no discounts)

I am super impress by this comparison. The Huawei car is well built, so many practical functions which are user friendly. Chinese cars will rule the earth. All other auto makers better wake up quick or they will be toast.

As much as i love my S-Class, shame on the German automakers for getting overly comfortable. I think most of what they sell today with their bazillion different models are cheap junk.

Can't really compare German car price with Chinese ones as when you buy a X5, its a base car and you need to pay additional 25% to spec it as comfortable as a Chinese car.
To my opinion after watching the Huawei M9 reviews, I'd rather spend the rest of my life in that car than being in house😂😂😂
Leading tech, features and experience, same or even higher level of quality and luxury, people who buy these expensive cars normally have more than one of them and a bit tired of traditional brand. These are probably reasons why local luxury brands are accepted more and more now.

Definitely better than the X5, I would say it should be against the X7. Even then, it seems better built than the BMW. it will probably lose out on driving dynamics to the BMW, and that's just about it.

Depends on what does a brand mean to you or the society you live in. Germany luxury brand is well established. Chinese brands have yet to achieve this status. Just check the resale value of huawei vs bmw or benz.

which I found to be rather strange....
the M7 and M9 for sure have dashcams.. (front ones )...they have sentry mode as well when you are not in the car it records the surrounding...
M9 has more features and costs less. Is this the future of motoring applicable to medium-to premium-class motorcars?

In the past, my dream car was BMW or Mercedes-Benz, but now, with the different demand for cars, vehicles are not only a driving tool, but also need to play more roles. Now German cars are lagging behind, and Japanese cars are also behind. My experience of owning a European car exposed me to technical issues such as electronics and mechanics, taught me to recognize parts and what needs to be repaired. The cost is quite expensive, and a lot of time is spent with the car in the workshop. Not very reliable

In such cases, you do first do a comparison with X5 and L9 & a comparison with L9 and M9. After that , compare the M9 with X5 based on how X5 compares to the L9

M9 is a good quality car,But it sales a little bit high price.
In order for these cars with autonomous driving to work, you need good footprint coverage with Chinese Baidu satellite equiped with high location accuracy. GPS is not accurate enough for autonomous driving.

In fact, Chinese products have a rather wide spectrum of product range, varies from high end to low. Remember that many world popular brands are having their products made in China. The door handle has an electric telescopic mechanism. If your hand is not on the door handle and you press the button, the door handle will be pushed inward.
Chinese cars does not sell better than German cars because they are better, they sell better because they are cheap, and also because there are theirs.
