What you need to enable, at least if you're on a Samsung device (not sure how other manufacturers do it) is media volume sync. Go to bluetooth settings, advanced, and then you will see the setting. What it does is it syncs the volume between phone and bluetooth device. This means no matter where it is controlled from it will reach its max volume and you wont have to worry whether your buds are at max or not

Cool and thanks! I was also considering returning them but I knew something was up. I could tell when I held the touchpad down to get a Voice command and noticed that the sound was a lot louder so I knew the Buds were capable of louder sound. Now I have it all fixed. Thanks!
Now if I could just figure out why it often interprets a double tap as a triple tap. Tapping seems too sensitive and not that reliable. I would love to be able to set the single tap on the left to go back a track and single tap on the right go forward a track. I could have play/pause as a right tap and hold. Is that doable?

  • @anguscook
    @anguscook 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Thanks buddy. This feature is an issue of the volume being either directly matched to the phone's media volume or not. The video, although a way to resolve it, is a long workaround. To control this 'correctly:' (and so you understand the logic behind this capability)
    1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings
    2. Select Advanced
    3. Ensure Media Volume Sync is enabled. Now when you turn the volume up on your phone, it will also turn up the 'built-in' volume of the headphones at the exact same level, i.e. 0% on the phone = 0% of the Buds' maximum volume, and 100% on the phone will set the Buds to 100% of their total volume range
    4. Turn your phone's media volume to max so that you have the full range of control from your phone or other device
    5. You can now disable Media Volume Sync again and unless another devices yanks the internal volume of the Buds back down, they will stay at that level and your phone will have access to 100% of their full volume range.
So, if you enable Media Volume Sync, set the volume to 50%, and then disable it again, when you turn the phone's volume to 100%, that will be 100% of the Buds' 50%, so only at half their maximum capable volume.
This is actually very handy for dual audio, where you want the speakers/earphones to have their own volume level so that when you are streaming to two Bluetooth devices at the same time, you might want one louder or quieter than the other. This is the way you achieve that.

my right earbud was so quiet you had to strain yourself to hear it. i tried every method in the book. i cleaned the metal bit with rubbing alcohol, played with the settings, blew on the metal bit etc. i even tried to take it apart in an attempt to follow a tutorial on how to fix the issue, but i wasn't strong enough and couldn't pull it apart. in the end, i got a sewing pin and ran it along the circumference of the metal bit. when you look at it it seems clean, but the pointed tip will dig up some wax form the inner edges. it did the trick for me, so i definitely recommend you try it. be careful, though! it is sharp.

You need to tear down the bud that had low volume then take out the block inside
Its like a touch pad thingy
Anyway. Under that u can see the sound thing, pusch it with a screwer softy on the edges and then blow little hard but not too hard then but back the buds.

I had this same issue, but only when I connected the earbuds to my phone. My Bluetooth capable laptop did not have this issue. I looked up on Google what to do to fix it, but I wasn't able to use those steps because there wasn't an advanced option in my Bluetooth settings. This totally fixed the issue!

Probably earwax blocking the the audio conning out of the speaker grill. Try cleaning them by removing the rubber tip and cleaning the metal piece using a wet tissue. Might be a good idea to put them in rise over night so you dry upp all excess water. Worked for me when my left ear bud got really silent.

i had the some issues with my right bud volume it was too low or slightly low
      But i fixed it
You need to tear down the bud that had low volume then take out the block inside
Its like a touch pad thingy
Anyway. Under that u can see the sound thing, pusch it with a screwer softy on the edges and then blow little hard but not too hard then but back the buds.
After that reboot the buds and there u have it.
If u didnt understand hit me up and i can make a vid on it🔥👍
