August Crappie Fishing In Louisiana(About the Hottest Summer Bite I Have Ever Seen)

  • This had to be one of the hottest days I have ever fished.The bite was so good it was hard to leave.I was using a white head jig that I have never shown before and Brian was using my green head jig.Lets see witch one was better.

    Because of you I pulled out my fly tying vise and supplies and started tying jigs. Years ago I tied saltwater flies but always fought the wind in the marsh with the fly rod so I quit it. Really enjoying tying jigs and you've also renewed my faith in Henderson. Thanks for your videos......well done my friend!!!

    Only thing better than a cooler of fresh caught crappie is a plate full of fresh fried crappie. You guys put a whoopin on them crappie. Come Febuary it will be time to go chase the big white bass on the Sabine River. You ought to do a show on that.

    I think I’m the only guy in the area that does not use a cork. I have caught -300 fish in the last couple a weeks in the Sorrel pigeon area, but feel like I’m missing out, by not cork fishing. That bright green 1-16 has been my best jig as well

      Yes! These fish are out in open water suspended about 3 foot under the water. Not on brush just on the move . With the water so low it put a lot of fish in these channels. We had 7 foot in this spot. All the flats only had a couple feet, so that eliminated a lot of water. Thanks for watching David!
