Not only is Stephen Graham a brilliant actor, but also a top fella. When Thomas's mum sadly passed shorty after the film. Him and his wife almost adopted him. Both stars all round.
I'm impressed with Stephen Graham. I never saw an Englishman play an Italian gangster with such CONVICTION and EASE. The way he plays Al Capone is nothing short of amazing.
Combo is a great character. He is a guy who has gotten the bad hand in life and therefore feels angry and pissed off at everyone who he thinks are happier than him. I don't even think he is a racist, he just feels the need to vent his anger at someone. His speech about the Falklands War I think proves that. A true racist would be 100% behind that war and saying stuff like "yeah, we showed them Argie bastards!" and "them monkeys thought they could get away with that!" But he doesn't, he says it was a shitty war and that Thatcher sent them away millions of miles to another corner of the world to fight for nothing. And he was so right.
Totally agree. He even says openly he was jealous of Milky's loving family. He kicked in milkys head just after he boasts of the great meals they eat together. It is even more sad when it is milkys extended family who decides to despatch of combo in the end. Tragic irony. Epic series
? ? ? Not sure why you guys are all defending Combo. Are you forgetting he deliberately built a racist bully crew around him, including recruiting little Shaun, to go around spouting racist shit and terrorising black and brown people, including young kids?? I simply could NOT understand why the other characters decided to 'magically' forgive/forget all the awful shit these guys did, and all started hanging out together in the TV series later... SO NOT COOL!!! I did get the feeling that Combo regretted what he did to Milky, when you see him in the TV series, talking to Lol from prison. So I was glad at least for that. But I still think he should have apologised to Milky directly for nearly killing him. There was just no excuse for that, no matter how jealous he felt of Milky's happy childhood...
@@willd6215 _It is even more sad when it is milkys extended family who decides to despatch of combo in the end. Tragic irony._ *Umm, lol, that's not called irony... :O It's called apropos!*
One of the greatest films of all time this. Graham is an unreal actor too, probably goes under the radar but he’s up there with the best ever. Probably wouldn’t get away with showing a clip of a film of this nature during a breakfast time show these days
stephen graham lives down the road from me in a village called ibstock well he did i dunno if he still does hes a great person to meet very funny fella
I cried when Combo got what he deserved...only because I knew so many racists who deserved the same...so glad I was always a punk/original skin. This shit was common in my day,and thankfully most of us were human! One love x
DAMN! Never occurred to me. He looks a fair bit like him and his voice is near identical. Stephen Graham is actually a white Jamaican though as it happens, and of course Craig Charles appears to be mixed race. But yeah Stephen Graham is actually part Jamaican, which really surprised me when I found out.

I met Thomas on xbox live and I looked him up on facebook and sent him a friend request and he accepted. he has all of these pictures with Johnny Depp and stuff so I googled him found out who he is. I live in the US and had no idea. I think it's pretty freakin cool that that happened.
Im not sure if you will have a full understanding on this movie as much as people from england, things are alot different in england to america, then again i may be wrong and u might love the film.

Stephen Graham is a phenomenal actor! As is Thomas.
Just brilliant seeing young Thomas wearing his team's colours from where he comes from
I'm impressed with Stephen Graham. I never saw an Englishman play an Italian gangster with such CONVICTION and EASE. The way he plays Al Capone is nothing short of amazing.
And more recently he was fantastic in The Irishman
stephen graham is such a great actor.
The series was just as good I loved all episodes
Alan bird This is for the movie

Graham is arguably one of the best English actors of all time at this stage and Tomo, he just has an x-factor about him, perfect casting!
Right time, right place for that kid. What a story.

Isn't his dad black in the film? I don't think he is racist, just an angry guy who's struggling to cope with others happiness.
@@mileskenyon his grandad is Jamaican

Stephen Graham's performance in this is england is mesmerizing.
The scene they show in the car, its amazing to see how caring and understanding combo can be... but then how easy he can turn voilent.
Great film

That Jez from Corrie, still terrorizing Steve McDonald
He scored twice :O...Grimsby Town sign him up!
Tomo seem to be pretty good at football. He's also a great actor and I hope we'll see him in a movie again soon.
He's been in quite a few now only one staring role I can think of though "the scouting book for boys" with Holliday Grainger

Shaun Fields - Shane Meadows
Why was this uploaded at 240 potatoes? I know it was 2007, but i'm sure we used more than 240 potatoes back then still!
Nice to see Tom in a Grimsby Town t-shirt!

Should be out in July in the US... the 25th I think.

It says he is of Jamaican and Swedish ancestry, nowhere does it state that the Jamaican ancestry is black. There are plenty of white Jamaicans.

@killerkid123100 I'm not sure why the sound is like that. I must have noticed it when listening to it through headphones.

That's very correct.
Don't be in a haste to invest. Know what and who you are investing to and be sure that the person will deliver before investing.
Learn and get the knowledge first before investing..

Best film of 2007. People who call it racist are the same people who say Trainspotting glorifies drugs. It should be shown in schools to educate.
