well iam fully from derby.both my parents come from mickleover.which is like a half posh boring suburbia type place.i do sound alot like him. my grandad came from sinfin and he would constantly drill in to the younger members of my family not to talk like this. at the end of the day its not northern or southern really, but definitly the midlands does take from both apart from the birmingham accent what is goddamn awful.i have been many places around england and some folk you meet cant work out where your from , but some really like it i ave been told yof.
