I feel like Nelson has been storing up stories for 3 decades of poorly behaved celebrities. Now that he has begun to uncork the bottled up trauma of it all, he has now become a human avalanche of karmic revenge ahahaha. I'm so here for it.
I love this channel. I have three Norwegian grandparents and one Icelandic grandparent, so when you talk about small talk and chit chat it makes me laugh. They were so direct.
I had two Dutch grandparents and if you want direct, you go to the Dutch, lol. My grandma told you what she thought, always (though my grandpa would occasionally say "Thea....bah" when she got going too much, lol)
Doesn't surprise me at all that Julianne Moore is an absolute delight. I feel like the very best actors are the most human and can push past the monotony of press junkets because they are aware that it's not all about them; the journalists and crew are all doing the same thing.
I agree. For the most part the truly talented and successful actors/actresses are kind people. While people like Blake Lively who lack talent and are not successful as an actress is snotty and rude.
@@SilkyShish Absolutely. She excels at playing snooty and elite characters, which is an exact replica of her own self. She isn't a talented actress and she is more interested in playing versions of herself and promoting alcohol and hair products to line her pockets.
When I first saw the LOTR movues, I was still young. My crush then was Orlando Bloom as the elf & I wondered what ppl saw in Viggo/ Aragorn. Now that I'm older, I now see what they saw in Aragorn (but I still like Orlando). In another forum/ vid, I saw a comment similar to mine (liking Orlando vs Viggo) - that people's tastes change over time. 😅
You and Nelson have great chemistry. I could so see you guys hosting a morning show together. Also, somebody needs to turn Mr. Aspen's books into an epic NETFLIX mini-series, STAT!
15:09 Omg your Crimson Peak interview is one I had NEVER forgotten, I used to watch it a lot back in 2016 when I was preparing for my English oral exam to practice. It was such an amazing interview
I had the sweetest exchange with Guy Ritchie when I was out with friends in a pub in London back in 2008/9. Not only did he come across as charming (yet a little shy) he was very attractive, handsome and had great style. Nelson’s got good taste :)
Hi Kjersti! I happened to see your interview with Blake that went poorly (not on behalf of you of course,) and then later found you on TH-cam. I’m so fascinated by your stories and insight. Thank you! And Nelson is wonderful to hear from too.
You guys are so fun together! Henry Golding is a doll! And I totally think Tom Hiddleston had a crush on you. I could see you and Nelson on a Hulu show interviewing people on the street and asking them what they think of certain celebrities. That would be hilarious.
I love seeing the TRUTH…seeing the truth about the celebrities good or bad is good for my soul..I will admit that the ones I’ve always loved seeing them as kind gives me a huge sigh of relief lol..love your channel❤
Hi Kjersti, Love this interview between Nelson and yourself :) so intriging listening to both your personal stories of your interactions with all these celebrities and a small glimpse into their world! A big Thank you for sharing your insights and sharing it with the world.
He’s so fun! I enjoyed the last time you had him on and this time was no exception. You and Nelson have a great rapport. I can tell he has no problem filling in those awkward silent moments. This was a great episode.
I’m glad to hear you guys recognize that sometimes a bad interview is because the person had a bad day or something else, and not because they are bad people. That was something I found a little frustrating when this channel first started. Granted, I haven’t seen every video from this channel, so maybe it has come up before. But, it feels like people forget that celebrities are just people and have bad days like we all do. People assume if they were famous and being interviewed, they would never be like any of the celebrity horror stories. But, I don’t think you can really know how you would be as a celebrity until you are.
I especially enjoyed the variety of the stories with both interviewers and celebrities having moments regarding the good, the bad and the misfortunate! I could never interview any celebrity due to the fact I would probably forget to breathe. I have immense respect for Nelson Aspen and Kjersti Flaa and admire their grace under lots of strange and random pressure.
What he said about celebs making the journalists wait is so true these days. Decades ago the celebs were more on time and professional. There is a famous interview of Joan Crawford speaking about making the reporters and media wait for just 20 minutes in Italy and saying how thankful she was they were waiting and not too upset. That is a pro. Edit: I wonder if because media and social media is so widely available these days if that affects the celebs being on time. 50 years ago they wouldn’t miss the media because it was their only outlet. Today they can just tweet or tiktok anything they need to say or promote at any time, so the media doesn’t seem as important.
Hi Kjersti! Recently found your channel with all the Blake (not so) Lively stuff. I can only imagine the outrageous egos you’ve had to deal with. You are such a wonderful person and feel bad that you’ve had to endure such rudeness. Of course, there are also many wonderful and polite celebs too. Love hearing all the scoop!
This video was amazing! You and Nelson are the perfect podcast!! You two bounce so well off each other!!! I’m looking forward to the “biggest regrets” episode❤
Love your channel. Norway was the first country outside of the US I ever visited. Such magnificent sites but difficult to break through to the people as a foreigner. I love seeing a humorous, breezy representative of such a beautiful country. ❤️❤️❤️
Viggo Mortensen...He is a true linguist; he speaks fluent Norwegian, Danish, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, English...he is one of the most intelligent and interesting humans you could ever meet...His latest movie (that he wrote and directed and stars in) is The Dead Dont Hurt is a really good Western, his favorite genre; Also I have heard from everybody in Hollywood that Vin Diesel is just a total asshole...LOL
I could not do your job. I can’t stand people who are so up themselves. I remember my dad telling me that when I had just started work and was worried about the boss. ‘ no one is better than anyone else, we all have to wipe our butts’
Bad behavior is a sign of truth. Everyone is digging for TRUTH. Everyone is told to play nice, so when you're willing to share with us TRUTHFUL stories it allows us a look through the keyhole that no one usually allows us access to. WE WANT THE TRUTH!
What horrible people! There is no class anymore. And, they feel we are lucky to have them as entertainment. Movies suck nowadays and cost is ridiculous, which is why I haven't been in years.
I just found your channel! Love it and you two are wonderful together! Purchasing Nelson’s book for sure! Also having spent 20 years on Hollywood as a MUA and then in PR can relate to some of these stories.
Press junkets are hard on celebs; having to travel and respond to the same questions about their latest film over and over again. However, it’s an opportunity to see if they have respect for everyone around them, or just assume that in their minds, they come first, ahead of everyone else.
I get that celebs might come into an interview having a bad day, but you’d think they’d have the presence of mind to tell you, or apologize ahead of time, that they aren’t on their game
I fall into sleep with a documantary about Blackbeard, i woke up with this video. And that was" Gut so" we say in Austria😊. Surely not the last time i visit your channel👍
The person in the back of your interviews gesturing with his hand to hurry up hurry up probably has plenty of stories too! It would be interesting to hear some of his/her stories. I love your stories. They are soooo interesting!
Absolutely not giving excuses to the people they talked about here (Vin Diesel seems like he just doesn’t care about other people’s time), but I can speak for myself. I try so hard to be on time, and I’m still late. I feel absolutely horrible about it every time. I would never be as late as Vin Diesel unless something horrible had happened, of course. But, sometimes people are late despite their very best efforts to be on time and not because they think their time is the most important.
I admire you both, it’s not a job I could do. My kids have better manners than any of these narcissists. I would give them 15 mins grace, then tell everyone to go home and pack up. But don’t tell the narcissist , let them come into dark sets, dark screens on zoom. 🤬🤯
Hi Kjersti! I'm so happy to see a Scandinavian doing so well Hollywood. You speak beautiful English (and you're beautiful in every other way too - your soul and your entire being). Your videos feel like part of a larger paradigm shift happening in the world. People seem to be tired of pampering celebrities and tolerating bad behavior from them just because they're famous. Many of them aren't even particularly talented - they're just rich and well-known. I hope the era of such a culture is coming to an end. Talking pictures once took jobs from divas who succeeded without any acting talent, and now social media may take jobs from people who don't treat everyone with equal respect. The media is supposed to be the watchdog of power, but in Hollywood, it often feels like the opposite - which is why your videos are so important. Greetings from Finland! Norway is a beautiful country!
Another amazing video! I guess with everything and with everyone, we have to take the the good with the bad. It balances life out. Although, I do enjoy seeing more good in people. ❤
Fab interview - love you two! And Kjersti, please don’t put quotation marks around “show” when you talk about your work here! This is your genuine, legitimate SHOW on TH-cam, Girl - no air quotes required! ✌️🤟✊💪
Nelson can come on as many times as he likes. Heck, I don't even mind him plugging his books. I usually fast forward through the in-episode ads. Not Nelson's though.
oh my god Vin Diesel is also MY worst ever celebrity interview!!!!! Holy shit. The interview ended up not even happening!!!! Worst person ever. He told me F & F was "sacred." [gag]
Bad behaviour like extreme tardiness needs to be rebuked. This is why certain celebs are becoming redundant. I refuse to be entertained by professional jerks. I want to see professional actors. We the public are the boss. We can revoke the celebrity's job by ignoring them and making them flop.

Ha ha
Lol ikr!!! I actually can’t wait for a tell all book with every juicy story!! ❤ I’m buying his first book!
lol!
Ha love the comment. Poor bloke, so true!
I love him!
Even though the negative stories are super popular I love to hear the positive story's as well
That's great
Me too!
same
I totally agree 💛 Stories like the one about Queen Latifah warm my heart.
Same
I met Julianne Moore once and she was so bubbly and friendly, it was contagious.
I never heard anything negative about her. Even blind items said nice things about her.
She's always been a favourite actress for me I'm glad she's nice off screen too.
Lili Tomlinson was sooooo nice
I love this channel. I have three Norwegian grandparents and one Icelandic grandparent, so when you talk about small talk and chit chat it makes me laugh. They were so direct.
Ha ha that's too funny
I had two Dutch grandparents and if you want direct, you go to the Dutch, lol. My grandma told you what she thought, always (though my grandpa would occasionally say "Thea....bah" when she got going too much, lol)
I'm a Norwegian forest cat and i am very direct
Doesn't surprise me at all that Julianne Moore is an absolute delight. I feel like the very best actors are the most human and can push past the monotony of press junkets because they are aware that it's not all about them; the journalists and crew are all doing the same thing.

Because they are comedians not just actors ❤ they are real artists
Nah. That's not the basis.
I get the Viggo Mortensen thing...had such a huge crush on Aragorn😂
He has a certain something.
When I first saw the LOTR movues, I was still young. My crush then was Orlando Bloom as the elf & I wondered what ppl saw in Viggo/ Aragorn. Now that I'm older, I now see what they saw in Aragorn (but I still like Orlando). Great to see Nelson and you together again on this channel 🎉!!
You and Nelson have great chemistry. I could so see you guys hosting a morning show together. Also, somebody needs to turn Mr. Aspen's books into an epic NETFLIX mini-series, STAT!
Agreed!!
23:00 I love Queen Latifah, happy to hear she's cool!
She's the lead in 1 of my favorite movies, Last Holiday.
That is one of my favorite movies too!! I rewatch it all the time, it just makes me happy and her comedic and heartfelt acting is sooo good
15:09 Omg your Crimson Peak interview is one I had NEVER forgotten, I used to watch it a lot back in 2016 when I was preparing for my English oral exam to practice. It was such an amazing interview
Awww, really??? That's so great.
Totally agree with his thoughts on Viggo. He has something special.
I have had the biggest crush on him for the longest time ❤
I had the sweetest exchange with Guy Ritchie when I was out with friends in a pub in London back in 2008/9. Not only did he come across as charming (yet a little shy) he was very attractive, handsome and had great style. Nelson’s got good taste :)
Working with him is a different experience
Hi Kjersti! I happened to see your interview with Blake that went poorly (not on behalf of you of course,) and then later found you on TH-cam. I’m so fascinated by your stories and insight. Thank you! And Nelson is wonderful to hear from too.
That makes me so happy. Thank you.
I always loved Nelson. Years ago I spent a year in hospital so waiting to hear his piece was a highlight of my day (after my shower and visitors). ❤
I hope you are back in good health! Happy Holidays to you and yours!
❤ Mary Louise Parker
So glad she was gracious
Oh how wonderful to have Nelson back. I think you two are a great team. Cheers 🇦🇺
You guys are so fun together! Henry Golding is a doll! And I totally think Tom Hiddleston had a crush on you. I could see you and Nelson on a Hulu show interviewing people on the street and asking them what they think of certain celebrities. That would be hilarious.
Ha ha I would love that
I love seeing the TRUTH…seeing the truth about the celebrities good or bad is good for my soul..I will admit that the ones I’ve always loved seeing them as kind gives me a huge sigh of relief lol..love your channel❤
I believe The Rock even called out Vin Diesel being late to movie sets. It's nothing more than pure disrespect.
Yes Dwayne did that
But Rock was the same ( late ) on his new movie.
Vinnie is a dollar store Rock.
Thank you so much!
Nelson, yes Australian here...he was fabulous, lov and miss him. Great interview!❤
Most of this convo is about the nicest celebs. Love it
I’d love to read your books Nelson. I’m Aussie so I used to love your Hollywood gossip in the mornings. Xxxx
I’m glad to hear you guys recognize that sometimes a bad interview is because the person had a bad day or something else, and not because they are bad people. Juilianne M. Is my favourite actress. I'm so glad to hear she's nice haha.

I love it when you and Nelson have a chat! We love Nelson in Australia ❤
Love you, too!
I like this guy. He communicates so clearly and kinda deliberate, thanks for helping me enjoy 20 minutes of my morning ☕️☕️

I'm definitely getting Dancing Between the Raindrops. 🌧 Thanks for another great episode.🤩
Oh, I would be so honored for you to read my novels, thank you! ❤
That’s awesome. Sorry that Norwegians are a bit reserved. Happy you found my channel.
Yay I'm glad Nelson came back, you guys are hilarious together 🩷
I am so happy to hear that
Thanks again for such a fun chat! I realllllly let loose in my new novels! 😅
I love Viggo and I am a linguist by profession. He is not even close to being fluent in Russian.
I love hearing you two talk!!!! You guys should start a podcast!
You and Nelson seem like you'd be good therapists. You both seem to have a really good knowledge of people and compassion for them.
I could listen to you two ALL. DAY. LONG.
Awww, that makes me so happy. Thank you!!
Keanu Reeves is probably the only Big A list celebrity that is recognised around the world but is nice to everyone.
So’s George Clooney!❤
Omg Viggo is Mr Dreamy!!! I love Green Book. He seems so kind and i dont even know how to articulate how attractive he is to me.
Such a great video with you both! Love how you interact with each other like best friends sharing your fun stories! Thank you for sharing🤍
I am now trying to picture Kjersty jumping on her couch after the Tom Cruise hug...lol!😂😂
Ha ha oh, no
So much fun! I could listen to you guys talking about your experiences all day long!
I could not do your job. I can’t stand people who are so up themselves. I remember my dad telling me that when I had just started work and was worried about the boss. ‘ no one is better than anyone else, we all have to wipe our butts’
I was not interested in this video, yet I watched the whole thing. You two are very charming and it feels like listening to friends.
Ha ha thank you. That’s a great compliment 💗
Hi Kjersti, I really enjoy your videos. I would like to see a longer video about Keanu Reeves because everyone seem to love him🥰😘
I have met him so many times. I can definitely do something with Keanu.
I completely understand Nelson's reaction to Viggo Mortensen. I love these chats!
Bad behavior is a sign of truth. Everyone is digging for TRUTH. Everyone is told to play nice, so when you're willing to share with us TRUTHFUL stories it allows us a look through the keyhole that no one usually allows us access to. WE WANT THE TRUTH!
Great conversation! Enjoyable, fun and uplifting! Thank you.
❤ Nelson!
Glad he’s back
He’s fun 😊
I love your channel. You are a wonderful interviewer. Nelson is so interesting too!
Oh I love Nelson’s stories!!! You’re a great team!!! 🤍 🤍 xx
What horrible people! There is no class anymore. And, they feel we are lucky to have them as entertainment. Movies suck nowadays and cost is ridiculous, which is why I haven't been in years.
Totally agree with Viggo Mortenson being a hottie. He is so smart and has this charisma. Loved him in The Lord of the Rings and Hidalgo. ❤
I just found your channel! Love it and you two are wonderful together! Purchasing Nelson’s book for sure! Also having spent 20 years on Hollywood as a MUA and then in PR can relate to some of these stories.
Oh my God, I bet you have some good stories then. Thank you so much for your kind words.
I kind of expected this of celebrities. They kind of have the "never meet your heroes" vibe. But the positives come out when your guard is up.
Sending loving and peace-filled thoughts to everyone.
Press junkets are hard on celebs; having to travel and respond to the same questions about their latest film over and over again. However, it’s an opportunity to see if they have respect for everyone around them, or just assume that in their minds, they come first, ahead of everyone else.

And that was" Gut so" we say in Austria😊. Surely not the last time i visit your channel👍
That's so funny and so amazing that you woke up to us!!
I really enjoyed this dialogue! Thank you 😊
We love queen latifah in our house. I love these stories
Yey ,we have more Nelson!!
Nelson is GREAT!
The person in the back of your interviews gesturing with his hand to hurry up hurry up probably has plenty of stories too! It would be interesting to hear some of his/her stories. I love your stories. They are soooo interesting!
Oh yes. that's so true!!
The hubris and disrespect of people who are late really gets my quilt in a twist. Unbearable.
Y'all are Fabulous, So So Much Fun!!! ❤
My favorite Robert Redford movie??? The Horse Whisperer *for sure* .🤭🥰 And I don’t even feel bad about it.🙃
I'm not good with small talk, but if the other person is like Nelson, I can totally talk. I just have a hard time getting started.
I adore Nelson since you introduced us to him in your videos ❤
Congrats on the 130k subscribers! 🎉
Thank you so much 😀
I admire you both, it’s not a job I could do. My kids have better manners than any of these narcissists. I would give them 15 mins grace, then tell everyone to go home and pack up. But don’t tell the narcissist , let them come into dark sets, dark screens on zoom. 🤬🤯
6 hours isn't late that's a missed appt and his team should be charged. What about all the crew that missed time with 'their' kids!!!!

Aww, hello Finland. Thank you so much for saying that!! And yes, it truly is interesting times.
Love Nelson!
I absolutely love your show. You are an incredibly beautiful woman keep on fighting the good fight. ❤
Thank you so much!! Aww, I will call it my show from now on!
@
Brava - glad to hear it! 💜
Beautiful moments! Thanks for sharing (both of) your memories!
Another awesome interview!! 👏😊
Nelson can come on as many times as he likes. Heck, I don't even mind him plugging his books. I usually fast forward through the in-episode ads. Not Nelson's though.
That's awesome!
Ya gotta luv the books! I have to put food on the table! 😅😅😅
I met John Schneider when I was flying him on an airline flight to Detroit. Super nice guy.
I love Nelson 😍 cheers from Australia 🦘🌏
You guys have great chemistry. Literally this as a video podcast format would be so fun!
This episode has great energy 💖
Thank you!!
oh my god Vin Diesel is also MY worst ever celebrity interview!!!!! Holy shit. The interview ended up not even happening!!!! Worst person ever. He told me F & F was "sacred." [gag]
That’s too funny
I LOVED Crimson Peak. ❤❤❤
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 🎉! Great to see Nelson here, with you 🙏🏼🫶🏽🎉!!
What a sweety pop Nelson is, seems so genuine.
Loved this video, please do more together!
We will!!
Love you both! Love your channel ❤
Bad behaviour like extreme tardiness needs to be rebuked. This is why certain celebs are becoming redundant. I refuse to be entertained by professional jerks. I want to see professional actors. We the public are the boss. We can revoke the celebrity's job by ignoring them and making them flop.
I just fell in love with Tom Hiddelson a bit. How lovely 🥰
he does talk too much in interviews, though. every one I've seen, and that's dozens
Now, positive stories , please . Great video, Nelson and you, thank you so much.
Adore both of you! So much fun ❤
I love Juliann Moore, she is a total class act! Fantastic!
Another good one. You & Nelson should do film reviews together. Even just like one a month. 😊
Great idea. Thank you!!
I love your show, Kieran ❤! Your guest is cool 😎 as well!
Oops! Sorry my phone spelled your name wrong!
This was fun. I just got his book (the NY years) thru my Amazon Kindle Unlimited subscription. 😊
That's awesome!!
Oh yay thanks! I look forward to your review!
@ thank you, for the reply. 😊
I like your interviews with Nelson. 👍🏼
