Bipolar disorder, when you’re on the high side life is good , when the pendulum swings to the low side you feel like the world would be better off without you in it . Great song and message !
I’m going through the same situation, so this definitely hits home 🥺😭. I keep telling her that she isn’t going through this alone that I’m here through every step.
As a side note, because you didn't mention it, that bartender was Chris Stapleton. BTW, I still tear up when I watch this. Thank you for your reaction.
Bipolar is a disease that can take you out if your brain chemicals even slightly changes… Suicidal tendencies are there. Yes I agree with you are Reck , doesn’t matter what you have from addiction to cancer. As a Nurse I’ve seen this firsthand 💔🙏🙏. Thank you as always for sharing your thoughts and emotions ( Chris I felt you too 😢🙏😢) Reck 🙏💔🙏💔🙏
I love you two so much!! My husband isn't into country music but I lost my high school sweetheart to suicide. This song reaches my soul! Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Chris wanted a video that not only showed the struggle she has with mental health but what the partner goes thru. The husband was basically showing her that he can take it. She can fire away and he’s prepared to take it for her. This hits very close to home for me. I’m blessed to have my husband by my side. 🙏🏼❤️
Don't worry Crs I cry everytime I see it. Chris doesn't like doing videos for his songs but the company wanted a video so he said if he was going to do one then he wanted to put the light on mental illness. I've been " Fired Away " at so many times. Thanks for sharing
I was just about to say this and your comment ws the first thing I see. I've been listening to Chris stapleton for awhile but i heard this song for the first time last week and that shit hit me like a fridge to the face. This is my second time hearing it and got tears in my eyes this time too. So i friend of mine recommended this and said what you said but also that he didn't like to be in the videos and of he got to sing about what he wanted and kinda direct the video and i think he said pick the actors but i might be wrong then he would be in the video. So they came to an agreement and he was the bartender in the video. This is definitely my new favorite Chris stapleton songs. Tennessee Wiskey, sometimes I cry and Death Row have been my favorites for so long long now but this is definitely going to be up there.. What a song..
Nice reaction. Love to see people touched by music that has a message. It’s ok to cry. Shows we’re human. I try to watch emotional reactions every few days. Makes me more comfortable knowing I’m not numbing to todays world.
This is one of the hardest to watch..the message here is this.."take your best shot, show me what ya got, honey I'm not afraid" come on, Fire Away ! Meaning, I am here for you, no matter what!! Many don't have that in their time of need, or sadly think they don't have it.
Idk if many can relate to my story but im one of the percentage group that was never diagnosed with bp disorder yet i know i had it n got treated for the multiple depressions i had n now i can say im officially one of the rescuers meaning im now a mentally strong person who vowed to save others n be there for them if they ever need me.
OH RICCO HOLD YOU'RE GIRL I SEE HER TEARS. CHRIS IS AMAZING TO SHINE LIGHT ON MENTAL ILLNESS I CRY EVERYTIME I SEE OR HEAR THE SONG GREAT VIDEO RICCO LOVE Y'ALL
This is the BEST reaction I’ve seen to this video. Sorry it took me so long to watch, but my 37 year old daughter is bipolar. I can’t watch this when she’s in a manic phase. It scares me to death! I’m always in awe when artist or celebrity uses their talent to bring awareness to issues. It shows great courage and passion. Chris did it beautifully. And you’re absolutely right young man. Hold your loved ones tight and tell them you love them. I do enjoy all your reactions, but this one…no words. Love and light young ones! Always! ❤️🙏😇
Mental illness Kills. I have bipolar it is hard to get out of a Deep depression but it is worth the fight to live, the love and support of friends, family and sometimes even strangers can help with this fight with the darkness and self hate. Those who have friends and family going through this be there and just love them.
Get the tissues, this is a sad one. But draws attention to an important issue. No matter how much you love and support a loved one suffering from depression, you can't always save them. I know from experience.
The truth is being in a relationship with a person with depression is tough. There’s ultimately nothing you can do but try to be there and support them but it is up to them to work on themselves. My girlfriend suffers from that. It’s tough but I still support her and tell her everyday I love her and I’m there for her.
Any mental health issues can be devastating. This being a holiday season please stay close to your loved ones. It's the worst time of the year for people that are struggling with something.
When you are going through stuff like in the video sometimes you just don’t want to burden others with your struggles. I go through these struggles and just wish I had someone in my life that wanted to help me through the tough days. This world is not easy and even talking doesn’t always help with the darkness you feel.
This one was a great reaction! "Be there for your loved ones!" "put on on your big boy britches" Much respect, really loved this one thank you for always showing you are aware of problems in the world and actually give a shit. Its nice to see. Thank you!
I am a combat vet and I have been accused of being a hard and cold man . Anyone seeing me right now would see that's not true . I want to thank you both for this and may God bless you both.
Amazing Story this is. Probably one of the most RELATABLE songs for someone struggling with Addiction/Depression. No Cap, it brought a tear to my eye. Great Reaction Y'all! Stay strong and keep on keeping on ✊
Chris did a great job highlighting how no matter how hard you want to save someone, sometimes you just can't. Plus the actors did a great job with the onion cutting lol.
Just reminding us all to pay attention...be kind...reach out to your friends and loved ones if you sense there is a problem....or if you are the one struggling reach out...you are not alone. Most of us deal with depression and mental health issues at some point in our lives.
Sending hugs to your lady, bro. I could tell she was fighting that emotion hard. It's cool to let it go, tho. Bottled up emotion leads to bad mentalities.
I've watched 1000 reaction videos, literally. I have never subscribed or even light a single video because I get too much junk mail and crap as it is. Yours is the first one that I will like because of your comments. You nailed it. We just want to know that our man has our back, 100% regardless of the situation. Any Rich kind of run when the going gets tough but it takes a real man to stand there and say bring it on. I love you enough and will take care of it together. Never seen your channel, but miss, if you're you are the Mrs, and this is your man and he truly embodies what he's preaching then you are a lucky lady. Thank you both for this video!
The video needs to be seen to truly appreciate this song and what it means to Chris himself because he normally doesn't do a video but this was all him idea and vision, there's actually a great video on here of Chris, the director, and the actors in the video all talking about it. Now that you have seen it if you want to truly appreciate the lyrics and his unbelievable singing ability you guys have to check out the acoustic version with just Chris and Morgane, his wife, there. It's by far the best version of the song in my opinion and it is somehow almost as powerful as the video I think. It's some of his and his wife's best singing and harmonies together. Enjoying your channel brother, really hope I see you react to the acoustic version, can't miss it too it's the only acoustic version on TH-cam I have seen and the video has around 10 million views now.
I have cancer... recovering from opiate addiction, trying to get thru depression and anxiety (plus chemotherapy) and I traded pills for liquor... still here with me... this song kills me
Sometimes you can’t help some people, regardless of how much you try, or care. I was very close to this, but my wife pulled me out of it… not everyone gets that lucky. Depression/bi-polar disorder is a deep, deep hole.
Awww Crys you're a sweetheart! Recklezz...You're a good man bro. You was side eye checking on her whole time. You know your lady, and thats so dope lol. As men, we don't want this kinda experience. This the only thing, aside from our kids, that would literally break us. Chris Stapleton is amazing....and I'm strictly a hip hop head. Hes incredible.
Chris’ studio was insisting he make a video, not just a performance video. This was his compromise. He would agree if it would bring attention to those suffering with mental health, and especially those that love them. There is a clip of Chris, the lead actor, and the director on TH-cam talking about the development of the video.
I cry every time I do a react too. I have Bipolar. Mental illness. It’s hard that is how it is. He tried to keep her safe. Yes PTSD I have that. We need someone to help us when it’s hard to stop her mind. 💕💕
He tried so hard to save her. She had Bipolar I have it as well. It’s so hard sometimes to get through things. Any mental illness. He tried so hard to save her. I have horrible days.
I've not been following y'all very long but I do enjoy y'all's reaction videos and there ain't nothin wrong with sheddin a tear now and then because it helps to keep us real. A song that I just heard for the first time the other day by Chris Stapleton is called "Cold" it's really an awesome song!
I was wondering if you would react to Cross My Heart by George Strait? This song is mine and my wife's wedding song. We have been married coming up on 23 years on Jan. 22nd, and she has been admitted to the hospital 4 times (currently at the writing of this still in her fourth stay) since Aug. 30. It would be so cool for the both of us if you as a couple reacted to this song. Either way thanks for hearing me out.
She had bipolar disorder and I do too. Mental illness is so real! My story is very real and there’s not enough time to explain it all. I can say this for certain sometimes it’s hard when you are in that mind frame and I live alone so I have a couple of people I can day or night thank God. I have lost a few friends over the years. I don’t want to be this way but unfortunately for me I have a broken brain. Thank you so much for reacting to this song. This is one of the things there needs to be talked about. I do believe that everyone with mental illness should have a friend they can call day or night. Just 2 weeks ago I was struggling for the first time since 2008. I kept saying no! Stop it to my head! Maybe one day I will share my horrible memories and stories that got me here. 💕💕💕
Y'all should do his cover of James Brown's This Is A Man's World! Chris was at another groups concert, & they brought him up on stage, & Chris KILLED IT, would've made The Godfather Of Soul VERY PROUD!!
This guy is simply amazing. I for one appreciate seeing her cry. Just show how raw your reactions are and how connected you both are with what your doing. Keep up the great reactions!! Check out his live acoustic songs: what are you listening to, treat you right and his remake of I hope you dance (the st. Jude acoustic)
Love Chris Stapleton, he's amazing. I really like your channel and your positivity!! Would love to see you react to "Either Way" or "What are you listening to?" By him as well. Keep it up guys!!! 🤘💀🤘
I love Chris Stapleton. I lost my 25yr daughter Kaitlyn by suicide. It's a never ending pain day after day. Kaitlyn and I talked every day and I never saw this coming. I'm Mom, I should have known. I failed
My 32 yr old son took his own life in 2017 Fentynl i blame myself and always will i should not of pushed him so hard but if i had not pushed him we both would of been in trouble. If i had not made him go to get the shot maybe he would still be here. and in 79 my unborn babygirl was killed at the hands of others i suffer from PTSD bi polar 1 and anxiety depression. Talk to anyone who will listen it may be your best chance at staying alive.
Ya wanna have a tear jerker try Cole swindell " you should be here" his dad was building him a custom pickup in celebration of his success ( record deal) the truck fell on and killed his dad. Man, this one hard. But the words are so powerful. Thank you for opening your horizon an giving authentic reactions. I wish I could push yall to the top myself.
I think it’s a great reaction video… y’all’s reaction of just watching and silence is deafening… and perfectly correct. As a family member altered by a loved one’s suicide, watching your faces… just… idk. Respect. I don’t know what else to say. It’s like I can see the moment it hit you what actually happened. Thank you for your honesty. Situations like this are sad and all that… but they also just honestly suck beyond the telling of it for the ones of us left here and so many times I think we are stigmatized for feeling selfish. But… damn it 🥺
This song holds a special place in my heart more now than ever . My beautiful loving smart funny musical artist engineer Son couldn’t deal with the demons he had in his head . He took his life December 21st being an organ donor he was kept on life support till Christmas Day 2019 he passed away Christmas Night . We are coming up on his second anniversary in Heaven . People need to really take mental illness very serious . It’s real and it’s the SILENT KILLER AS the nurses told me . Hold your babies tight folks
Ironic you picked Chris today! Chris had a concert last night (December 11, 2021) in Nashville. I live in Florida & a bunch of my friends flew up there. I should have gone. 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you for not pausing every 30 seconds...when reaction channels do that it drives me crazy because they interrupt the flow of the song and they don't always catch all the lyrics. You guys should do more reaction videos! 🙂
After I got out of the military in 2012 I was lost and in alot of mental and physical pain. The v.a. just kept prescribing me pain pills. I ended up hooked on them. Couldn't take the memories and pain. I was taught if you ask for help your weak. All my wife wanted was for me to talk to her and I couldn't.In 2014 tried to take my own life. Thank God it didn't work out. I thought it would be the best thing for my wife and kids. It wasn't. I never thought of the pain it would cause them. I learned that it doesn't make you weak to seek help. Sometimes we can't do it alone. Thank God I'm in a better place now. If anyone is thinking about suicide please I beg you ask for help. It's never a good idea.

I have a bi polar daughter and trust me this a real concern everyday. I’m so glad he decided to use this as a platform!
The backing harmony vocals by his wife are awesome on this song as always.

Man, this one hard. But the words are so powerful. Thank you for opening your horizon an giving authentic reactions. I wish I could push yall to the top myself.
Always love Chris....after you have a kid especially you feel things in life deeper.😂😂
Can't wait to see this reaction!!
But… damn it 🥺
Depression is real! I've lost many and know many that have lost those to suicide. It's not what about you have or not.
I suffer from alot of mental health issues. My mom found me in a pool of blood years ago, she saved my life
Great reaction... But I'd really love to hear HER thoughts on it and what she thinks of it.
I’ve been trying to get her to talk more but she doesn’t. I talk to her everyday about her talking more on my channel.
@life.... Well keep working at her...lol. Many people want to get her take. Great job on the channel.
Her take were the tears.
You a good reactor no cap. It seems like a better human too bro. It's amazing to see. 💓
I cried to!🙏Thanks for your hard work! 🇺🇲Awesome reaction! 🔥
Craig Morgan is also an excellent country artist, check out The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost❤
I see you like the country story telling songs. Try “Chris Knight - down the river” its a good story song.

Ironic you picked Chris today! Chris had a concert last night (December 11, 2021) in Nashville. I live in Florida & a bunch of my friends flew up there. I should have gone. 🤦🏼♀️
Check out COLD at the CMA Awards…FIRE!!
Chris plays the bartender at the beginning of the video.
Chris Stapleton.. doing.james brown.. it's a man's world
Thank you for not pausing every 30 seconds...when reaction channels do that it drives me crazy because they interrupt the flow of the song and they don't always catch all the lyrics. You guys should do more reaction videos! 🙂
Thank you!
Mental illness is real and true love no matter what, is hard to find.
I luv this reaction

Either Way - Chris Stapleton on Charlie Rose Live.
