Fantastic video!! Super glad to see how well Qi'ra performed at Gencon, especially after me thinking she would be an amazing leader, but generally seeing commentary on Reddit and Discord about her as "yeah, she could be good but is kinda niche and situational".
Best SWU Video on TH-cam easily. Please do more of these for other decks. (Personally I'd like to see Han2/Blue covered as I struggle against it with Qi'ra but also like the deck).
@@iamwooooo Likely going to rewatch, that and the L8 Night Gaming Masterclass are great videos on the deck. If there were a video made as comprehensive as you have done for Qi'ra I think that would be perfect but I understand something like that would take some time, thank you!
Watching this video really feels like we are being coached and that's awesome. Great job. I wanted to play a Qira deck ( cause I really like black blue green decks and Qira showcase 😅) well you made it happen... keep the great work! And congrats on the 7.0 at Gencon.
Oh this is amazing. I’m playing a budget version of Qi’Ra green that uses First Light. that tends to be my finisher. it’s also nice to smuggle in late game
I tried a Dr. Pershing for a little while and very quickly moved to a 3 of. I feel like card advantage isnt the best arena to get ahead on, but it certainly does help.
Thank you for the detailed guide. It is clear a lot of personal investment went into making this video. I've had some success myself with Qi'ra, and with Krennic in set 1. However, I'm struggling to find the deck as top tier as you're describing it. I'm playing a list that looks similar to the 30 point base list, for clarity. I'm getting to the late game in most matches, but struggling to put the opponent away. I also struggle a bit with understanding how to use a few cards optimally, especially Lom Pyke. But overall, really appreciate you and your investment in the SWU competitive community
Thanks for the comment! I hope the info in the video helps tighten up some of the match ups. I spend some time covering Lom Pyke as well. He's been performing very well.
@@iamwooooo I've watched through the video, and it is very detailed. But something isn't clicking for me for some reason. Just a suggestion, but some game play content to see your thoughts in action would be great.
Hi. I’m running this list due to not having vaders. How does it look? Qi’Ra Green ECL Pile Ground units- 26 3 death trooper 3 hylobon enforcer 3 maul - shadow collective visionary 3 Pyke sentinel 3 reinforcement walker 3 superlaser technician 2 Gideon hask 2 lom pyke 2 supreme leader snoke- shadow ruler 2 the client Space units- 8 3 consortium starviper 3 inferno four 1 avenger - hunting Star destroyer 1 devastator - inescapable Events- 16 3 make an opening 3 overwhelming barrage 3 power of the dark side 3 resupply 2 takedown 2 rival’s fall Sideboard- 3 top target 2 palpatine’s return
Losing Vader does require a bunch of changes, and it’s not something I’ve explored. Keep in mind the new set is releasing so the deck might go through some changes soon.
@@Karn_BE I've been making some changes, there's a lot of options in Blue Han. Hope it's been testing well for you. The updated deck lists are on my patreon currently.
Palp Blue would probably be very tough (but struggles against Sabine). Can try to work on decks featuring Ruthless Raider too. I'll also be working on counters!
Been playing Qira-Green a lot, but against Han2 Blue is don't see a chance. It feels like an uphill battle all of the time. Starts with Andor 3-5, ends with Luke Skywalker, Chebacca and Kryat Dragon killing basicaly everything you play. That's when you even have cards left after Pillage, Force Throw and Kannan killing your hand.
I haven't found that match up to be too bad. I prioritize ramp and a big ECL hit / Qi'Ra flip to stabilize the board. I don't play low impact cards early to protect a bit from the discard plan. I think our end game matches up well with their end game, especially when we ramp. Definitely takes some getting used to the play patterns, keep at it!
U dodged all the Sabine decks that day and that matchup rough. Also notice all the boba decks going heavy space now what other space units would u add if u could ? Love you’re content keep up good work from another content creator
@@Lorcana_Mr.Lucky_BigBrainPlays I talk about Sabine a lot in this video. And I don't think it's necessarily a bad match up. There's not much other space to be honest. Maybe StarVipers, System Patrol Craft - nothing I'd be super excited to include.
I absolutely love Qi’ra Green. I am glad she is finally getting recognition after being looked over before. I could never afford Vader units. I am currently running 2 Dooku and 2 Mauls instead. Do you have any other recommendations there?
Hi, I really want to use Qi'Ra and have been doing a ton of testing. However, I only have 1 Vader and that's how I've been testing. I feel like it's definitely an issue. I've used more Mauls and a Dooku. Any substitution ideas?

Palp Blue would probably be very tough (but struggles against Sabine). Can try to work on decks featuring Ruthless Raider too. I'll also be working on counters!

I have versions of Qi’Ra up on Patreon as well.
Great vid. The best decks against it are Blue/Green decks like palp? Any other card thats good other than ruthless raider?
You can also try to play a value game. Discard backed up by pressure, late game engines (card draw, smuggle).
@@iamwooooothat would mean double yellow Han is favourable right? Or you mean like pillage Route combined with late game?
@@FirebrandSWU I wouldn't say it's favorable, but it has a plan of attack for the match up.
