    No flipping way! The backwards walk to the gymnastics ring back to treadmill!? And flawlessly executed!? That move was banned in the 1932 Olympics! 😲

    For those looking for one I really recommend checking secondhand marketplaces for those! It's one of those items a lot of people tend to buy only to sell them again eventually. It's how I got my WalkingPad A1 in perfect almost unused condition for about a third of its original price back then.
    Happy to see another person using one of these!

    Great video, Tasha!!! I give you a gold medal for the move of walking on the treadmill to the rings and back to the treadmill without missing a beat!!! 🥇🥇🥇 I think many people will now include the ‘Tasha’ in their treadmill walking routines!!! Yeah as well for walking backwards without crashing!!! You’re amazing and I love watching you grow and adapt to new goals with zeal and a child-like joy!!! 🫶🥰🫶😍

    My setup involves a small floor desk that only has my mouse and keyboard on it wired up to my desktop and TV that are about 6ft away from me. It lets my eyes focus on something further away and it's easy to move my desk instead of my floor chair/cushion whenever I want to stand up. This is in my bedroom so when I wake up, I fold my futon mattress and pull the desk out in it's place. Only downside is that I'm not sure how I would incorperate standing like you have, since my desk needs to be very mobile.

      That’s a great idea regarding focusing further away from you, that’s gotta be good for eyesight!!

    Wow I didn't know they made folding treadmills, but I've never looked into them either. I had a treadmill a few years ago. My mobility was not good for walking around the neighborhood, thought a TM would help, inside, out of the weather, could sit down when I needed to. It was the kind that folded up when not in use. After 4 years of not using it, I donated it. I like how you're demonstrating all the systems you're trying and having fun with it!

    I've been trying to persuade my workplace to invest in sit/stand desks with walking pads, they are actually coming around to the idea as more members of staff are competing with one another top increase their step count each day. maybe it will happen!

    I saw a post uploaded on reddit where someone had filled a large paella dish with smooth surfaced river rocks to stand on for their standing desk setup, essentially giving themselves a constant foot massage and stimulation for the feet while standing. I did ask if it got uncomfortable but they had used it for a year with no issues!

  • @bombombalu
    @bombombalu 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It's not a game changer. It's a game-extender.
    Leave your desk. Take breaks. Move around.
    The treadmill just keeps you in front of the computer.

      @@natashatheresa I also opted for a crappy chair and a crappy desk ;) It's not for everyone. But it has really forced me to get up more often and clear my head, away from the screen. I feel less stressed and I don't think it's had a negative impact on my performance.
      The main benefit of walking/running is that you can't really work while you're doing it. A treadmill negates that.
      I tried the treadmill for several months and that was my conclusion.
      But thanks for sharing your experience too. It will be interesting to hear your opinion in a few months.
