We have lost a musical genius the likes we shall never see or hear again. Licks and modulations few understand. Rest in peace.
Buddy is the benchmark on pedal steel , he always will be , his tasteful playing will never be equalled .He never overplays the second verse on any tune, that is called "taste" which he had in abundance.
The master is gone in body, but his music will live on forever in our hearts and minds. God bless Buddy Emmons.
