Pazin is a town located in the heart of Istria, Croatia.
👉Pazin Castle: An important landmark, Pazin Castle is built on a rock and offers impressive views of the city and its surroundings.
👉Pazin Cave: Also known as the "King of the Cave", it is a natural cave located below the castle. This was a subject of interest and inspiration for the writer Jules Verne.
👉Ponte di Ferro: an iron bridge built in the 19th century, which connects the two parts of the city over the Pazinčica River.
👉Ethnographic Museum of Istria: Housed in a noble palace, the museum offers a foray into the traditional life of Istria.
👉Cultural events: Pazin hosts various cultural events and festivals throughout the year, bringing local traditions and customs to the fore.
👉Stone Bridge (Kameni Most)
Nature walks and excursions: the surroundings offer opportunities for nature walks and excursions, allowing visitors to explore the beauty of the Istrian landscapes.
👉The Pazin Abyss is a chasm on the edge of which was Monteccuoli Castle (Pazin Castle). The cave and the two lakes here are difficult to navigate, but you can cross the chasm with the zipline, the zipline which is 200 meters long and 100 meters high.

The whole region ( Istria ) is great. Lots of hilltop little towns, vineyards, olive tree plantations. Truffle shops. Quite charming. Apart from these hilltop towns we have to visit the coastal ones ... Rovinj, Porec, Vrsar or the imperial Opatija. Unfortunatelly the beaches are not so good here ( compared to Dalamatian region ). More videos to come in the next weeks :)
