Now this is a very good tool. Thank You to the person who brought this to Claire's attention. And Thank You Claire for sharing with us. One of the reasons we love you.
Hi Clair. This web site no longer offer to match the pallet to Prismacolor pencils or Copic for free ? I tried and tried for 3 hr but can’t seem to find it no more ? Do you know if this became there paid option? Thank you in advance.
definitely checking this out as I'm more of a Prismacolor user and my iPad died so I had no app available. I have color conversion charts but often it's complex and like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Tanks Claire and Kai Ner
Claire, thanks for this little tidbit! I found the coolor.com site via another poster, but didn't know how to change the setting from Prisma to Copics. Following your instructions, I went back out to the website and changed them! I, too, don't use Prismas, I use Polychromos and here's hoping they add the Polys to the list.
Oh how I wish we could get the numbers for Polychromos! But I'm happy there's some site that gives me Prisma colors at least...you can always color match as best you can from the Prisma pencils. I find it's easier to match from one pencil to another than trying to match pencils to colors on a screen. Like I can match the Prisma Mulberry pencil with something in my other sets. But trying to get a pencil number from a color on the screen is more difficult. Thank you so much Claire!
Yes, that's exactly what I do! I also don't use Prismacolors but I have a set and therefore have a color chart. I just take the color charts next to each other and then search for the closest color in the set of pencils I plan to use. But even if not, at least it gives you a hint of the color you need, when you have problems to figure it out and just don't get it right, because you can also pick and choose very exact points on your picture, instead of the auto-color-scheme and I miss that function in the most color pickers you find online. But maybe if the side get's used more or get's more popular, they will add other big companys and also Polychromos or Caran d'Ache. I have a hope for this to happen, because they added copics not too long ago.
Kei Ner I sure hope so! The Arty app Claire talked about in the last video gives Polychromos and Luminance but is iOS only. If this website adds other brands, that's perfect!
I'm in a YT video for the first time, yeaay :D I hope this side will help many people now, instead of hiding in the dark! Instead of clicking "auto" you also can click on the photo and choose every single color yourself. There are so many things to play around with and to figure out. For sure many more than I know until now, because my english isn't the best but for the very basic functions you don't need to know the language at all. Even if you don't use Prismacolors it's a very nice tool to pick and look for color in a picture and maybe save the palette you created.

GREAT! Thankyou so much 🍀🌻
This maybe a dumb question. But if it is a blank colouring book page where do l go from there ?
Watch my previous video on the colour wheel to choose your own colours xx
The objective of the website is that you pick a color pallet that you would like to use for your blank colouring book. :)
wow this is just the best thanks.
My screen is completely different and don’t have the color pencil names
Became a paid only feature, does anyone have any alternatives?
Very cool
Wow, how cool. Tfs xo
yes!
