Trains at Reading, GWML - 13th October 2021

Hello and welcome to my latest video.
On October 13th 2021 I headed back to Reading station which is on GWML. and also a major trainsport hub.
Reading is absoutley amazing I was there all day filming. Varirety of trains is excellent, station itself and the design is glorious and very modern, even the concourse inside reminds me of Airport terminal.
Views are brilliant even between from Platform 7 & 8 that looks towards Oxford and the curve line towards Basingstoke & Southampton.
There are quite a lot of freights, and few empity carriage units in and out of Reading Depot.
Trains you mostly see is GWR Class 800 Hitachi, 165, 387, Cross Country Trains 220 & 221, South Western Railway 450, 458. And little few freights and one Bemond British Pullman from London Victoria en route to Cardiff Central.
I've enjoyed my time a lot at Reading, will go there again sometime next year.

I forgot GWR go to Basingstoke and also quite alot of loans with GWR

GWR mostly dominates Reading, especially a lot of Hitachi trains and 387!

@maimadha Hitachi’s are decent units, but I agree they are nothing like Intercity 125. But sadly they had to retire at some point as they were very old.
