My aussie brother in law said that domino's and pizza hut will never be his first choice, but will just choose their local pizza shop. But he once found that pizza hut in malaysia is so delicious compare to the pizza hut shop in his aus home.
And i have never try the pizza shop in malaysia. In australia, most of the pizza shop is take away only with few seats.

Domino's in Malaysia is usually for delivery or take-away unlike Pizza Hut or US Pizza. However, some outlets have a small space whereby you can dine-in but they usually pack the food to go. Just need to clean up the place after you finish eating since it's a waiting area for those who order take away. Banana Kaya is the best dessert ever invented, hehe..
Jimmy Sam is correct about dough being the most important component of a good pizza. Red sauce is next and if both is done well, all you need is mozzarella and voila - a proper cheese pie. That’s my favorite, a simple thin crust cheese pie - like the ones you get in New York… so good…

Hi Ichang and Jimmy, I missed your video where you try exploring Malaysia. I'm sure there are still many things you haven't experienced yet. Try going to some of our kampungs - explore their local cultures and delicacies, delicacies that's not mainstream. It's another way to open even the Malaysian eyes to what we have in our backyard. Especially Sarawak and Sabah. Go and stay in one of the long houses (get local companies/person/guide) because they can take you for a feast on the river with fish freshly caught from the river you traveled. Explore our minority races - like Malaysian Siam in Kedah, maybe some Peninsular Malaysia orang asli tribes, or the malay-java people of Johor. All of them have unique languages, food cultures and more. I like Jimmy vlog on explorations but not so much about food appraisals. Wishing both of you the best of luck!
Both iChang and Jimmy posted about feeling burnt out. They were travelling to many places around Peninsular Malaysia. Nowadays, we mostly see Jimmy posting. I'm sure iChang is resting and recuperating. What we can do is continue to support them.

Domino's in Malaysia are proud of its free delivery service and 30-minutes guarantee. Hence, Domino's stores are small, next to the road (easy for the delivery riders and takeaway) and have this sort of 'unwelcoming' aura for dine-in guests. So, most of their customers opt for delivery (or takeaway).
Dough-wise, Domino's has chewy, powdery dough, whereas Pizza Hut has greasy, bready dough.
Topping-wise, Domino's have a lot more variety compared to Pizza Hut. Though, Pizza Hut is more trendy with the 'seasonal and quirky' pizza like the Cola Pizza.
As for the sides, Pizza Hut takes the crown for offering a lot more options; from wings, to breads, to soups, to lasagna, to spaghetti, to desserts, etc. While Domino's did offer sides too, more often than not, they are less interesting in comparison to the Pizza Hut as they come in takeaway packages.
Personally, I love Pizza Hut Pan for its soft, bready and greasy dough. However, I like Domino's plentiful topping choices. As for the sides, it has to be from Pizza Hut. I rarely go for Domino's sides.
you should try Khirwan's Pizza Parlor at Bukit Jelutong. It's Italian Pizza with Brick Oven, the smoky duck & raspberry jam so good i craved for it always

In Malaysia...eating is like an investment, it's up to us to choose the type of investment that benefits us. likewise with food, everyone wants something tasty and worthwhile that makes us smile and enjoy it. doesn't mean DOMINO'S pizza is not good
You are spot on regarding the different reviews for the SAME brand. US Pizza @ Johor was nothing like the one in this video...and most of the time we wont get the "cheese tarik" experience no matter which brand we buy.
Jimmy, when you eat the pizza at US pizza, you're suppose to mix the egg with the cheese. It will taste better because the egg will give the cheese a better creamy filling......
You guys should try Pizza Kayu Jemapoh...in Kuala Pilah,Negeri Sembilan.

hi J, try to do dis simple dip sauce to go with ur pizza.... it will change ur life....n super easy to make.....chinese chilli oil + japanese mayo. dip ur pizza in it....deeeee-lish.....a tiny tiny bit of mustard....dijon if u have....but dis is optional....just make it more atas......just play around with de combination ratios...to customize de taste to fit ur tastebuds.... u can use dis dip to dip ur raw vege, carrots, cucumbe,r onion, celery...... promise me u must try.....
That missing ice cream and the “redha” like it’s my fate to not get the ice cream is sooooooo Malaysian thing 😂 but seriously you should ask for the ice cream and service industry should improve here in Malaysia😅

When I'm in malaysia I prefer domino's pizza more than pizza hut's one. But yet I liked pizza hut's side dishes more than domino's one. US Pizza haven tried will definitely try it when I'm there :D

My favorite brand pizza is domino's, but you miss chili flake to put on top of pizza. After the first time I eat domino's any pizza I want to eat I will put chili flake.

p.s. Last time there was this Papa Johns Pizza in KL, they have the best pizza. Dunno why they close all their stores here. Now, my favourite is Dominos Beef Pepperoni with New York Crust. Eat it at home with some dash of Tabasco Sauce.
Domino pizza we usually order takeaway or eat at home since theyre specialise in that, that's why usually no people in the restaurant. Pizza hut usually for celebration /once in a month thing.

My daughters prefer US Pizza… the restaurant near our house has a console to play retro games for free. Maybe that is the main deciding factor for them to choose which pizza restaurant to go 😅😅😅
I really like the mushroom soup from US Pizza. Maybe I will try Cheese Board and Fried Chicken Chili Padi in the future too ~
Most of the times we order Pizza for takeaway because we can share with all our friends and family. Sometimes we bring the Party to pizza shop to dine in. But rarely we dine in pizza if we just like 2-3 people eating. like very rare for us to dine in alone.
If me, I will insist to get the ice cream for my onde2 lava cake. 😅

People usually order for delivery for dominos and phd. But pizza hut got outlet that you can dining.

My current fav is US Pizza dine in. My outlet will ask if we want the cheese boat mixed...he will mix the cheese and egg and stretch it( it is a performance!) and slice for us..yummy for cheese lovers! Their dough is delightful, I would just visit if only for their garlic twist!! Pizza wise can taste ingredients are fresh and real cheese taste... pizza hut not fav, too little topping, small serving and half hearted efforts in prepping. Domino is classic, dependable flavors being many local fav delivery for hungry nights and parties..like roti kosong...basic pizza flavors without fancies😊....of course local independent pizza stores or even cafes are the best..made with love.

Dominos focuses primarily on takeouts & deliveries so they give a lot of promotions if you order for takeaways & deliveries. Its way cheaper so we prefer to not dine in.

Domino's Pizza is my franchise for pizzas. I usually prefer to visit Eatalia (Brava). Pizza Roma is also nice. I really enjoyed the pizza at Skinny Dip cafe too.

Try triple chicken with stuff crust at regular size from pizzahut..1 of the best..plus for pizzahut regular n large are better due to toppings and bread ratio..but it will cost more of coZ

i had similar experience with pizza hut, super supreme pizza used to be tasty. one day i had order during lunch time. the taste tasty like usual, then i order more in evening but the taste is not the same anymore til now. i think they change the chef
