@@rimservices am willing to bet it doesn't trigger for 1 single reason: the tadpole only leaves the host when it's dead, and non-lethal attacks only knock unconscious
The Pale Oak doesn't need Kagha alive. Rath will give you the Pale Oak in her place at the end. Also, when the fight's over, if you were wildshaped during the fight, it wont treat you as a druid when trying to get the reward.
Fun fact: In the Githyanki creche, you can actually go around the altercation without triggering the scene. There are vines near the waypoint. You go up and walk around, deal with a few minor enemies, then work your way to the other side of the magically locked door. When you get back there, the Githyanki come through the door and aggro on you.
I've been working on a mod for Minthara (nothing significant, just changing her weapon) and to test it I teleport to her from the start of the game using the debug book (another mod). So I saw this cutscene but another thing I noticed was one of the goblins walks in to Minthara and gives a report about how "a band of adventurers" just showed up. Not sure how rare it is to see this but I can't imagine many people rushing to Minthara as soon as they get in.
Baelen Bonecloak has more hidden interactions. If you throw a Sussur flower next to him before giving him his scroll, he will react to the spell not working
for the gith creche, you can still have the cutscene, you just have to click the attack button on the bottom left and it will start combat and then once you kill them, just go on in.
Something to investigate: I suspect that placing the Tarnished Charm on corpses other than Ethel might unlock new Speak with Dead dialogues. I haven't found any with new information, but it does seem like some sound "better" and there's a different quality to the graphics and sound. (E.g., the dead tiefling girl with Lump the Enlightened.) I have been carrying it around in an Honor Mode playthrough, and I've forgot to use it too many times, but I would not be surprised if there's some additional use for it. The fact that it appears to change the quality of some of these seances makes me think the devs might have planned for it.
You don't have to go through all that for the extra XP for killing the Gith. All you have to do if have your party separated, hide, and switch to another character to attack during the cutscene. The real bonus isn't the 350 xp but the fact that they don't lock the door behind them to so it is a lot easier to make it into the Creche.
The tadpole cutscene plays when you encounter your 1st dead True Soul. For me it's always the dude that got attacked by the owlbear and that you find with his 2 siblings. It's not a Minthara thing
If you are Faithwarden, it seems you get unique dialogue options in some cases. The only one I saw is in Act 2 when Jahirah first sees you in the Last Light Inn, where you basically just say "Stop this, I'm Faithwarden." And it doesn't get you out of that pickle but it gives a unique line of dialogue from Jahirah
I did the secret reward. Kagha and my crew fought the shadow druids, then I went back to camp and got a druid hireling. We went back to the Grove, where I had the DH go talk to Kagha, she gave him the secret reward.
7:40 actually the same result to harvest Mindflayer parasite same as you shoo away edowin's brother and sister after he get wounded from Owlbear. You get the snapping head cut-scene
The minthara one is only possible if you skip the dwarf and two humans near the owl bear cave. It’s the same cutscene you get from taking the tadpole from the dwarf.
If I was making a weapon for Khaga to give you as a gift, specifically for a druid, it would be a staff that buffs Shillelagh. Specifically, it would make it permanent (preventing the need for using your bonus actions) and provide a +1 poison damage to it. You would still need to actually cast Shillelagh, so you couldn't just hand the staff to a cleric or something.
I always just press attack button on bottom left corner during cutscene to start combat. No need all that extra work y'all doing in comments and in vid
That one part with the cutscene after killing Mynthara; it’s not unique to her. This happens to the 1st *True Soul* you kill. I’ve had this happen with Priestess Gut, DroRagzlin, Mynthara, and from the Dwarf True Soul near the Groves secret back entrance. I think even that Alpha Knoll from that group attacking the Zentherin thugs in cave probably has this happen too.
for some reason, you get the title 'Faith warden' and can use it in dialogue at last light, but it make no difference if you say you are, nothing changes. Sad, (unless I'm missing something)
You actually don't need Kahga alive, you have to turn her back to the Druids side from the shadow Druids. If she dies in battle Rath will give you the staff instead
what happens if you encounter jaheira for the first time while wearing that staff from kagha? because the entangle wouldn't work right? i'd be curious to see it
Want extra XP? Play the game, there's plenty of XP, do side missions & explore. Hate these cheesy game changing semi breaking tips, it's a cutscene for a reason. I can see if they dont give you much fights for XP or some but in this game its one of the things they did right, I was never under leveled for a fight & I didn't even do all fights(just happened to miss a few things in Act, otherwise I woulda done them all, like to get my money's worth & actually play the game)
Great info but you should work on your presentation. I could barely understand you. There are many free programs to help you pronounce English correctly. When I visit France people are always correcting me. I figure it is only fair to provide the same advice for content creators with an English speaking audience. "This" is being pronounced as "zeeez". You are very far from the correct English pronunciation. Good luck my friend.
Stealing from Mattis wasn't just planned for, it's an inspiration for urchin backgrounds.
I'm pretty sure that "rare cutscene" when you killed Mintara happens with whatever tadpole host's body you come across first.
Yeah normally it’s the dwarf near the owl bear cave.
I wonder if it triggers if you non-lethal her, and if yes, does it affect her in Act 2
@@rimservices am willing to bet it doesn't trigger for 1 single reason: the tadpole only leaves the host when it's dead, and non-lethal attacks only knock unconscious
I like to repeatedly ask him to flip the coin, so funny, he eventually gives up and tells you to just keep the ring
Yeah, the lil shiiits are pickpocketing your purse 😂
"May I not be the last monster you vanquish" is such a banger of a line

I personal favourite is to keep mattis flipping the coin until he gives up
Just curious, is this ring used somewhere later? Or its just for lolz?
@@Bushallmighty its just for lols, hes scamming you

i love your videos. They all show what a masterpiece this game is - Larian thought about almost every possible situation a player could provoke.

I'd suspect that Minthara's cutscene would actually be related to Edowin, cuz you have a very similar interaction with him :P
yea usually I see this with Edowin and not on any of the goblin leaders.
I got it with infected dogs
I guess this cutscene plays the first time you loot a parasite from a corpse. I wonder if its coded for every corpse or just act 1.
It's with literally any first dead True Soul you encounter
Yeah I was curious about that too. I assume this cutscene exists on the first character you kill that has a tadpole, regardless who that would be.
The cutscene with minthara is the same for any of the first dead true soul you encounter like flind the knoll
you can get faithwarden from Rath as a druid if you kill Kahga

fun fact, you can just fight the gith yanki on the door of the temple but you gotta come from the kobold room
the best way is to bring the gremishka and kobolds with you to visit those gith. the halflings somehow join in too

I found out too if you throw the bag to Baelen and hits him, it kills him. What a wimp.
oh the cutscene one, i found that if you set a character to cast a spell like fireball or something it will cast and they will engage in combat
Wonder what happens if you cure Baelen and then tell him you killed his wife.
thats the question we need to figure out!
You actually don't need Kahga alive, you have to turn her back to the Druids side from the shadow Druids. If she dies in battle Rath will give you the staff instead
You can fight those cresh cutscene people by going to the backside of the door before triggering the cutscene
Kagha shoulda been a companion, that way you wouldn't have to wait 8 years to get Druids to be your companion IN YOUR PARTY
mushroom man dies no matter how much he cries. no mercy
Trust me play as a tiethling druid then do the korga quest it does not disappoint 😂
u can get the stafff by killing kagha aswell, just need to convince her to mend her ways then kill her in combat, the other druids dont care
I wonder what happens if you restore Baelen's memory after his wife dies.
4:10 you are scarier than kagha 😂
what happens if you encounter jaheira for the first time while wearing that staff from kagha? because the entangle wouldn't work right? i'd be curious to see it
What happens if you put the noblestalk in the bag?
thats not minthara specific
Wait how can one make Kaghra see reason?
Do the investigate Kagha quest and choose one of the dialogue options to persuade her. I think detect thoughts may also be one
