Can I put an IMS 1-cup basket in the Flair?

Wow that looks like way too much coffee for the basket

Great call out! Since making this video, I actually reduced the amount of coffee. In here, I believe I did 20g, but I have since reduced it to 17-18g and noticed a significant improvement thus far.

Can’t say this looks like a standard Espresso. Too much coffee and not enough crema.
I believe you’re using the 58X, you’re suppose to heat the brew head over your kettle, or at least pour hot water into it first before pulling your shot.

Also... Boil the water while you are grinding and tamping. You can preheat the machine and the pf with two shots without coffee, temp is very important

Valid comments and thank you for the feedback!. So this is the standard flair 58 that comes with the electrical pre-heater. So temperature at the brew head shouldn't be an issue. I also pour in boiling water after the brew head is preheated.
As mentioned in another comment, I did realize it was too much coffee, which I now have reduced.

You can clearly see the cord. And he turns it on in the beginning.
