Great video.
I think you're meant to use spirit alcohol in the alcohol burner. This way, you will get a hot, and almost invisible blue flame for cooking like the original Trangia camping stoves.

Good suggestion! I’ve not seen or heard of those trangea stoves for ages! We used one during a trek in Mongolia back in 2006!
