Thanks for mentioning Millennial Book Junkie. I just checked her out and like what she reads. And thanks so much for mentioning trigger warnings. It's very kind of you.
My wife loved NOS4A2 and the TV show. It's sitting on my son's shelf now. I could steal it, and he would never know. I always remember to fill in the gaps on bookshelves so they don't notice right away. Then again, I bought it, so technically, I would be returning my own property.
We're going to have a blast reading The Rats again, you're right about the first chapter, it's horrific. Thanks for giving the readalong and discord a shoutout. I haven't read Richard Laymon in years, considering how popular he was here I never see his books when I'm book shopping.
Absolute pleasure John! I am looking forward to giving The Rats a re-read, its been a long time. Laymon has been hit or miss for me, hopefully this is a good one.
Oh my gosh this was such a nice surprise! Thank you so much for mentioning my channel. It has made my week! So great to meet you and find yours as well! I think I read Richard Laymon years ago when I was obsessed with Dean Koontz. I see you have some Koontz in your shelf! I used to collect all of his paperbacks :D I need to re-read some of them. So good! I look forward to more of your videos!
Absolute Pleasure! Hope to watch your channel grow in future. I do enjoy Koontz, especially his early work, need to read more. Take care and enjoy my videos!
I loved Attack on Sasquatch Valley. It was a five-star read for me. I'm so excited to be joining you all for the December book club reading of NOS4A2. It's been on my TBR for so long. A Cthulhu Christmas sounds like my kind of Christmas! I hope December brings comfort, joy, and peace to you and Anita.
Thank you so much Jen! It has been a crazy year, we are feeling better this month. It's awesome that you are joining us for NOS4A2, I am sure you will love the book.
@@Kritz_Reads That is so awesome. I also like RPGs. I like very old school "hack and slash" games like Diablo and Titan Quest. Spent way to many hours on Skyrim.
I read part of The Rats a while back. Never finished it. Not because I wasn't liking it. I start so many books that I don't finish some of them. I am going to be reading NOS4A2 as part of your book club
Looks like a fun reading month! Attack on Sasquatch Valley sort of reminds me of those silly "Messin' with Sasquatch" beef jerky commercials. 😂 I've been meaning to read NOS4A2 for years; need to get to that. Ditto on anything by Peter Straub and Richard Laymon. Not so sure about the necrophilia-themed story collection, but it might be interesting. 🫣 I've been re-visiting Lovecraft as well. I love cosmic horror, but with Lovecraft, I think much of my enjoyment is in the writing itself. Just started a couple days ago, and his over the top vocabulary and prose style has made me smile several times already. All the best for a fine December, reading and otherwise!
Thank you so much for watching Bryan! I am really looking forward to my re-read of NOS4A2, such an excellent horror novel. Laymon has, in all honesty, been hit or miss for me. I also enjoy Lovecraft's prose and vocabulary. I hope you have a fine December too.

An absolute pleasure! Glad you enjoyed the video and so glad you discovered a new channel.
I can relate to the desire to forget November. Grateful for the distraction of the holidays. 👍
Thanks for watching! Yeh, November was a horrible month for both of us!
Hi Cliff! Excellent POP! Thank you for always supporting smaller channels. 🖤
Thanks Leslie! It is a pleasure to support other booktubers. 🖤
Hi Cliff! Awesome pile of possibilities! Thank you for reading my book! 😊
An absolute pleasure Jason! I will be reviewing it soon.

Thanks for watching. I say take back what is rightfully yours. 😀
how many seasons are there for this? I remember seeing the first season back when that was the only thing available at the time
@Kritz_Reads 2 seasons. Season 1 you can stream for free, but season 2 is a subscription one.
@@Kritz_Reads I have never watched the tv series!
NOS4A2 is a good one! I like Island. There’s definitely nudity and perving 😂
Very cool of you to shout people out. I’ve found some of my favorite people here this past year through your channel.
I am really looking forward to re-reading NOS4A2. Yip, you always know what you are going to get with Laymon. 🤣
@@Alicia-606 I am so glad you have found new channels through me.

You're thinking 'Black House' because Straub co-authored that book with King.
Thanks for watching William. Absolutely!

Thanks for giving me some new channels to check out. I also love video games, so excited to see what they are about
Pleasure Kritz! What type of video games do you like to play?
@@CliffsDarkGems mostly role playing games and some adventure games. I just finished final fantasy VII and spent over 100 hours on it

Looks like a good if a little grim reading month 😅
Yes, I do have some "dark" books lined up.

Hi Holly! Great to see you back, I've missed you on booktube! NOS4A2 is awesome. Thanks!
@ I’ve missed it! This year has been a whirlwind finding my footing as a new mom! Hoping I can find time to make videos again.
@@crooksbooks Huge Congratulations Holly! 😀 I hope you are loving the experience of being a new mom and wish you everything of the best.
I’m going to start NOS4A2 tomorrow! It’ll be my birthday next month!
Awesome Matt! I'm looking forward to the re-read! What date is your birthday?
@ January 28th.
