    By the way, there is an equalizer in the Xbox accessories app that allow you to tone down the bass!

      I've had great success lowering the actually bass channels and turning the bass boost to +2, you keep the deep tones without messing with the rest of the range

      @@Mrlostmoniker Yeah but, just make sure to use the EQ and adjust the settings as out of the box the bass is on overload. I also bought the Dolby Atmos app on sale from the MS store and in Call of Duty it's incredibly accurate sound for locating enemies.

      I’m literally having the same issue with my junk turtle beach’s they still sound amazing however everything is falling apart. They lasted about a year and spent around the same amount of money as these headsets. Could you tell me if the Xbox ones are falling apart? You can actually share your dts and dolby atmos license if you or a friend own it and want to share, you just need to sign into the account that owns the license and open the app, there's a button that says active and you'll be good to go, (dolby allows 10, I think dts is the same) you don't have to mess with the home xbox stuff. If you're already game sharing with someone though it will activate the license on your home xbox automatically. I own dolby and my buddy has dts so we license shared. I've found that games that are designed for each sound better with it enabled, (IE Halo infinite sounds better with dolby than dts, gears of War sounds better with DTS) but dts has a better upscale for games that don't come with native spatial audio

    hello, great review
    I was wondering if you could actually confirm now if the delay is still there with stereo (not DTS/dolby)? I would appreciate it a lot, since I play a lot of competitive games

    • @Mrlostmoniker
      @Mrlostmoniker  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There appears to still be a slight delay that I’ve noticed, most likely due to the transmission between sound and the console, but it does appear to be less of a delay than if you’re using Sonic/DTS

      on RTings website, it appears that, while wireless, the headphones have around 135ms~ of latency, but while wired (with the usb-c to usb-a) it appears to go down to 57ms! and I think this might almost completely nullify the sense of delay?

    DTS and Dolby create the delay as it is processing the sound before it goes to the headset. Stereo Uncompressed has the lowest latency. I noticed it because i play guitar on the Xbox and need to have low latency to not sound drunk so the settings are so obvious from that.

      @Mrlostmoniker I have the Xbox headset x3 and they sound great to me... But going into the Xbox Accessories under configure you'll find equalizer settings. From these settings, you can turn down the bass or turn off bass boost. You can tell they tweak these for bass heads. I switched to Movies Eq and put bass boost to 1-4. But you have to play with the slider to find what you like... and you good.
      When you buy the Dolby atmos app on Xbox they say you can activate on 10 device so far so good.
