When I joined the Army in 2010 all we had to choose was Asics. Basic Training.. Asic training 🍷 we ran a lot in those so yeah asics are tough
I remember all of that lol its all too familiar 😩
I would not dare wear those in my civies back then , but hell, look at me now, wearing them 🥴😂😂

I just put them in a single knot. I may loosen the strings and let them hang on both sides.
would you recommend to size down in the shoe? I wear a size 10 in women and a lot of people say size down....

Don't size down. It fits tight if you have big feet, otherwise, stay true the size or go half a size up. I have 2 pairs of Asics 1130s. You could also take out the insoles if you need more breathing room for your feet
