I think the limited configurations of stand alone packages are Ford's way to limit complex orders and accelerate scheduling and production. I like the way Ford continues to innovate and add features to the CP360. Ditto on how cool it is to get the 360 as standard on Lariat, Tremors and Lobos.
I just got a 2024 Lariat with BAP and only wish it did have a black roof. I went looking for the Lariat I wanted and found it at a dealership 4 hours drive away. Drove my old 2001 Ranger there, traded it in, and drove the Maverick back home. Wasn't sure I'd like the 2025 so went for the 2024 while I could (was one week before the 2025's got revealed). Got the hybrid and love it. Would have been nice to have AWD but probably don't need it that much. It will be mainly for my fiancee and I'll be driving my 2020 Mustang...but...I almost want to trade that in for a 2025 Maverick LOL 😀
Feel like job 2 is where it's at. Going to wait at least then before making the plunge. Feel like the Lariat has the features for "new to truck" driver, still debating on the looks. BAP looks pretty good, wish i could mix in that tremor front decal lol
I have a 2024 Shadow Black lariat full luxury package with Black appearance package and moon roof and 4K Towing package. In this video you advise that the 2024 Lariat has the 8 inch screen. Is this correct I believe my screen is the upgraded 6 inch screen. The 2025 lariat has a 8 inch screen. Am I confused? At any rate I purchased a 2023 XLT WELL EQUIPED and three months later traded for the Lariat. I have ordered a 2025 luxury Black Shadow Black appearance package and every option available. I can only hope that my dealership will be kind to me with my trade in value towards the ordered Lariat. My current Maverick has numerous after Market options that amounted to a $49000.00 price tag which included a $5000.00 over msrp that I paid for both Mavericks. I will not be paying over msrp for the ordered Maverick. You might say that I’m Maverick crazy in purchasing three Mavericks in 20 months. I’ll be considering getting a full canopy in that my dogs will be permitted to occupy the canopy.
Now that I've seen the navy pier in person and have it myself, I like it -- it makes it unique from other vehicles. You just need an exterior paint that complements it which it seems Ford has tried to do for the most part with their color choices.
I’m pretty sure a package requiring another package is wiring harness related, and maybe some modules. They save money by not putting in all the wires in a harness, so to get one thing it has to have the more filled in harness. The painted roof thing is some other story; not sure why a Lobo’s roof is black when it has body color everything else, someone’s personal preference there.
I thought the same thing but why in 2024 the BAP required XLT Luxury Package but in 2025 it doesn't. That one doesn't make sense to me. As well as why it isn't available on the FWD Hybrid. I don't see any painted things that would effect the FWD.
Very weird detail, but I’ve noticed on some maverick models like the lobo and the lariat at the unveiling, the rear tailgate latch is different. It seems to have a big camera attatched to it and is integrated to the plastic trim on the top of the bed. The configurator doesn’t have any details. And shows a lariat trim without it and only the lobo, Any guesses? (Integrated piece example is 15:15. Non integrated is 16:23
In your opinion what would be the best way to option out the Maverick to get the most options and capabilities out of it? Im thinking of doing a loaded Lariat
Lariat has all the convenience and tech features standard now. The only options are the black appearance package, 4k tow package, and some bed options.

@@jcaputo3156 The Center Screen is 8", the productivity screen on the Lariat is 6" on the 22-24.

I’m liking the Lobo without the aero wheels. It needs some aftermarket amber DRLs for an aggressive look.

Yeah, BAP makes no sense. Maybe BAP taillights require something in the AWD bed harness??? Or maybe just want to force people to get AWD. Who knows…
