I decided to test this so I removed the battery from my spare FOB and followed the instructions. Sure enough, my 2019 Chevy Malibu started!! Of course the other thing this video showed me is I definitely need to clean out my center console so I have easy access to that transmitter pocket. LOL Thanks for your video!

on the remote theres a silver button on the side where it will remove a key from the remote, on your drivers side door, theres a little panel next to the door handle which can be removed easily, which has a key hole entrance where that key goes in
Are you serious!! My keys just recently been giving me issues where it locks/unlocks just fine, but it wont start the car until after ive tried it multiple times. I would've never guessed this since I have a ton of shit stuffed into my center council 😂

I finished my work and I couldn’t start the engine after 3 attempts, it was saying ( put the remote in the pocket to start ) I had no idea where the pocket is ?! until I watched your video, found it inside the console! I was happy I didn’t even take off the battery and I sit the remote on its wide side and it worked right away, I was happy like Yesss 👍🤭 Thank you for help, appreciate it❤️

This design is ridiculous, what is the point of having a fob instead of a key if you still have to place it somewhere to start the car Not even to mention if you use that storage department with anything, you have to dig out through the entire thing to start your car
Soo my car locks and unlocks by the key fob but it suddenly stopped letting me start the car with a push the start button and was making me use the pocket translator to start the car but again I can unlock and lock my car doors with the remote just fine. Do you know why that would be interestingly enough it happened to be at the same time my AC stopped working

No - this only works with a key fob that has already been programmed to the vehicle. There is chip reader in the car that can read the chip in the key fob if it is the correct location - even if the fob has no power.
I have a 2019 Chevy Malibu sometimes I can be driving and the car will die completely and my key fob wont-work to turn it back on can you please tell me what the problem is because its started happening often now I can be at a stop light and a whole car will turn off and be completely dead. But if I move the battery cables and hit the key fob it turns back on. Can you make a video of that please 🙏
could you start it without the key in it if your locked out of the car and need the emergency key or do you have too put it in it before putting it in the transmitter pocket

What do you do after you changed the fobs batteries and it still says no key detected
if are sure the new battery is good and installed properly - then there may just be an issue with the fob itself.

not sure on that - sounds like it may be a deeper issue with the vehicle itself rather than the key fob
