While the voices aren’t the same now, I still witness their passion and heart pour into their song at the current age. I honestly applaud them for not relying on lip sync, and wanted to perform in their own passionate way.
That's the wild part of their original debut in the USA. They were ALWAYS a band but because it cost a ton of money for imported acts to do gigs in the US at the time they must have had a shoe string budget that sent them packing with just the playback tracking and them lip syncing to it, which was pretty standard for these kinds of acts. The other issue was Aqua being lumped into what many ignorant American listeners called TECHNO. By their country's origin, Aqua is Pop Music but because the US was wildly ignorant of European acts, anything different was lumped into categories they shouldn't have been. Overall, I'm just EXTREMELY HAPPY for their return to the US and everyone can enjoy the music.
@@harperwiccan475 Aqua has always been pure synths, in both instruments and drums. the only thing acoustic about it is in some of their life performances. I forgot the name of the member, but the guy that used to have the spiky blonde hair made the songs basically, on 1 computer (apart from the choirs, they were real)

I agree! Sometimes they'd drop into a lower register for a while, but kept up the energy.
