I've been watching this series for months. Every Monday on my day off i would watch the latest video while eating dinner. On one hand i'm so impressed and glad to see it finally done and excited to check it out myself in Openrct2. On the other hand, i'm sad to see my weekly tradition has come to an end. Either way, i look forward to whatever you make next. Thank you fidwell :)
I am fully confident there will NEVER be a more accurate recreation of any park. You inspire me to try to completely re-do my King's island recreation, but I know it will never even come close to the standard you have set. When I find the time I might take another shot at it to try and compete, if I ever find the time. Congratulations.
guy, you are my hero, I'm a fellow ohioan and that looks so true to life all the way down the parking lots and the beach and the causeway, great job bud
I have to leave another comment lol. I downloaded the file and it might be even more impressive once you get to play on the map. What a great piece of art. Hopefully this video blows up because more people need to see this!
I know I’m late, but I still can’t believe it’s finished. I started watching around the end of phase 1, and have watched every episode since! This is such an incredible project!
I was just reminiscing to when this build first started - I believe it was the chairlift down the midway near the entrance where I was thinking "oh wow, this guy is nuts, give this a minimum of one year (more likely two) and then we'll see where we're at". Not only have you finished it in well under a year, but to such a comprehensive level of detail, AND making videos in parallel on top of that! Phenomenal effort man and so glad to see the finished product, must feel pretty rewarding! Congrats
This is just incredible. Truly the best park recreation I’ve ever seen in the 23 years I’ve been playing RCT. A true accomplishment and you should be very proud!
I really like your final changes made to Millennium Force's first large camelback hill. Elongating the transition from flat-to-steep was definitely the best move. The straight track at the top just felt stiff. Overall, your time and attention to every last detail is just amazing. You should feel so proud and accomplished of yourself. (Also, Millennium is my favorite ride at Cedar Point too. That first drop by the lakeside cannot be beat.)
Terrific job on recreating Cedar Point. I watched all the build videos. Really great effort. I love those cute little shoestring kiddie rides and all the other ones. The Wave Swinger is my favorite ride at amusement parks. Overall, great job on this.
I live 20 minutes west on Route 6 from Cedar Point and I must say, you absolutely killed this build! My family and I always get Gold Passes and attend the park and Cedar Shores atleast a half a dozen times per season. Cedar Point has always been a huge part of my life since I was born and raised so close, thank you for recreating such a realistic recreation of a wonderful family amusement park!! I gave u a sub and i look forward to seeing any updates along the way!!!! #AmericasRollerCoast
OMG! This is absolutely amazing! Thanks for making this. I'm trying to make Gemini because it's my favorite rollercoaster at Cedar Point. What an AMAZING PARK! Keep up the great work! Keep riding coasters!
I've been following this for a while and I love it. All I can think is how much I wish Kings Island could get this level of love and care from someone. All the KI recreations I've ever seen in my decades of playing RCT2 are pretty trash and even made by people who have never even been to the park so they're painfully inaccurate. Happy to see CP get this though, since CP also suffered from the same problem of having lackluster recreations. Great Work!
It's amazing!! I bet a 5 min comparison video with real footage would do really well. Regardless, this is already a fantastic outcome to a fantastic series.
suggestion now that you finish it i suggest to imagine you own the park irl then you can add what you want like a coaster and rides or development or building something new for the future.
it'd be cool to do some teasers of what the top thrill dragster update might be. There have been some teasers released indicating it will be opening in 2024, but not too many details beyond that. Maybe ya could do some creative interpretations of their 'formula' hints XD
Not just realistic, but that's an actual recording of Magnum itself! These are new sounds that have been added to OpenRCT2. Deurklink did an overview on it here: th-cam.com/video/LXZkfm6O70A/w-d-xo.html
I guess it's telling I haven't been to Cedar Point in YEARS when I was surprised when you said Blue Streak was the only wooden coaster in the park. I was like what about Mean Streak, even Gemini was a wooden hybrid. What year is it?!
Awesome job! Can you upload track files for the coasters? Especially Steel Vengeance. I open your file and try to save tracks but many of them won't let me.
You can't save track files for coasters that use new elements (like zero-g rolls). And many of my rides use hacks that also won't work for tack saving. You'll just have to rebuild them yourself unfortunately
Impressive! I love it!! Bravo!! Bravo!! You are sensational!!! You are colossal!!! You are so superb!!! This is truly pure gold!!!!! How about a new megapark up next? Because i was thinking that i wanna see a new megapark called, "Storytella: The Legendary World!" Area #1: The Jungle Book (By: Rudyard Kipling) Area #2: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (By: L. Frank Baum) Area #3: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (By: Lewis Carroll) Area #4: The Adventures of Pinocchio (By: Carlo Collodi) Area #5: Peter and Wendy (By: J. M. Barrie) So could I see this new megapark please??
You forgot the Princess of the park. Someone dresses in Pink Lolita Dresses and goes to Cedar Point. I would give you a picture but I cant put pictures in comments...because apparently this is 2005 lol

Thanks for the kind words!
The Magnum tunnels look great
I remember when I was younger, trying to re-create Cedar Point in RCT3. Great job man! You killed it.

LESGOOOOOO that's what we've been waiting for
I moved away from Ohio 8 years ago and this made me very nostalgic for our CP trips. Amazing job!

Thanks so much! It's partially thanks to your encouragement and tips as well. Glad to have had you along for the ride!
omg i love it, actually physically going to cedar point multiple times, this looks really good
This is just incredible. Truly the best park recreation I’ve ever seen in the 23 years I’ve been playing RCT. A true accomplishment and you should be very proud!
watching since day 1 looks amazing awsome job man
So cool :) I've ridden all of these rides so many times. It's crazy how accurate this is!

Yeah I waffled for a long time on those hill changes but I'm glad I made them in the end. It does look a lot smoother.
My back hurts just looking at the magnum XL coaster. Nice work!
Such an epic scale project. Congratulations on actually finishing it!
Great job completing the park! This has got to be one of the best creations I've ever seen in a game, not even just RCT.
god damn dude. you're a master of openrct2. this is brilliant. defies words

You did a masterful job. I only hope this isn’t the last we’ll see of you or your work. :) need to get to the Point myself someday.
Truly incredible. Absolutely terrific job

This is awesome. Thank you for building this and having an awesome community around your channel. See you on Twitch soon!
This is a master piece... Excellent job and deserves a million views
Dude holy shit, you did an incredible job on this. I was at cedar point a couple weeks ago and this is super accurate
Thanks so much!
Excellent work. Very detailed and right on point. Downloaded it last night. Can't wait to play it.
Finally it is done this is great

That's a lot of work... Amazing 👏🏻
This looks so COOL! very good job! 👏🏼
This is really awesome! Congratulations on a great build!
Looking forward to it sir
What an achievement! Really impressive stuff.
so impressive !!! loved watching this :)
would love to see you do six flags new england :)
Fabulous. Thank you!

Amazing
Can't wait to see Wild Mouse :P
Wonderful job!
u are so creative u really should build this in planet coaster
Thankfully I don't have to, because someone else already did: th-cam.com/video/qtd7Kaw3Sck/w-d-xo.html
this is so amazing. you think you can get a deurklink park review?
That'd be neat! It's probably out of my hands though; we'll just have to wait and see if anyone wants to review it.
i think maverick is my fav
This park delivers the most thrills for the lowest investment, but the sheer amount of rides is the pay off.
Great job!
Looks nice
11:06 *squinting* That doesn't say... OH "MELT" RIGHT, melt, okay.
Haha I'm not sure what it looks like, but yeah that's Melt Bar & Grilled.
Look good : )
hey fidwell. curious what you have done so that magnum has that clearly different and realistic lift hill sound.
Yeah Gemini and CCMR have steel rails so I don't count them.
@@fidwell a purist I see . . . . glad to hear Gemini is still up :D

Its my dream to spend a summer living at the parks marina
Wow!!
I feel like I'm there. Swear if the graphic design had more resolution it would ruin the feeling.
Will there be a download to it? Just wondering...
Download is now in the description!
Do you plan on making other parks owned by the same company?
I did Dorney Park last year - th-cam.com/play/PLbabtOSGZNUwFXe8n9dA5645yPnpThLkH.html but aside from that, I have no plans to make any others.
How will you make the return hill for Top Thrill 2?
I'm not planning on updating the park at this time.
How do i download it? Where do i move the ZIP file from NEDesigns for the park?
Extract the .park file from the zip, and open that with OpenRCT2.
Impressive! I love it!! Bravo!! Bravo!! You are sensational!!! You are colossal!!! You are so superb!!! This is truly pure gold!!!!!

So could I see this new megapark please??
Are you going to replace top thrill dragster with top thrill 2?
I have no current plans to update this park, no.
@@fidwell okay. :)
They tore down Top Thrill Dragster? God
The top hat is still there, but the rest of it is being replaced for 2024.
thats awesome. gets too less attention

Hm, I've never heard of someone doing that. Sounds fun!
you freaked it
fidwell if you grew up in ohio
why is your country a meme
I don't know. It's not really different from any other state.
Excellent job!
