Is it the overheating caused by the i9 processor that kills it fast? I always thought that the i7 model was much better, it still overheats due to the current cooling solution that dell has, but with some tweaks to the voltage that the cpu receives then it might not overheat and last longer. You didn't notice vertical banding issue on Oled with grey near black backgrounds. It is awful
Max I really like your videos!
I’m looking forward to switch from Mac to Pc and I’m looking for a good laptop to use it with DaVinci Resolve. So you suggest the MSI p75? I have been on Mac for more than 20 years so I don’t know what to spect and I like good design looking objects. Cheers from Japan!
David Jimenez don’t listen to this reviewer. He’s a clown.
If you really are wondering whether or not to buy anything, you’re better off looking elsewhere like MobileTechReview or JayzTwoCents
Please help). I plan to buy a 7590 4k touch. Which stylus pen is suitable for this model? Thanx
Can I use iPad pen?
can't believe I'm writing the 3rd comment, FFS this guy thinks the MacBook Pro is a 10 and every other laptop is just not as good as that 10, I thought he changed but i don't think anymore
People look up to Long Term Reviews to show how it's come along after using it for months. Sad that wasn't touched upon giving the title it is under. Really lose me there
Apple and many other undervolt at the factory unfortunately Dell does not
So to get similar performance to others you must under volt the sell.
And calibrate the display for video or audio.
You do have 3 display choices touch and non touch 4k and 1080p.
Dont know what SSD you have but my 1TB model came with Samsung SSD which are both around 2500 mbs.
Do you have a 2019? If so looks like you got lucky most including ours are from Toshiba.
Max Tech 7590 yes, my 9560 was toshiba as well which was slow af.
@@MaxTechOfficial CrystalDisk SSD test shows 3000.7 MBs read and 2989.9 MBs write on my stock Samsung SSD (
Mine came with a PC601 NVMe SK Hynix 1TB.
CrystalDisk 2969.2/2555.9
Mine came with a toshiba 1TB drive and it is bad .
Always useful. A Pleasure to watch 👍
I have a question: is there a way to somehow put a 3:2 or 16:10 aspect ratio on the xps 15 16:9 screen?
@@poghop thanks man!
can someone tell me why opening laptop with one hand is considered as a separate category in comparison ?
yeah I was like just use both hands, who cares
Because it’s a reason to say “MacBooks do it” .... it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and I have no idea why it’s become a “thing “
Cuz not a lot of people like stiff hinges and many TH-camrs considers it to be an important point. You might not open it with a single hand but s lot of people do
@@strongnerd4638 okay this proves you are nothing but an apple hater anyways its again preference and if so many TH-camrs include this as a point then there must be some reason to it. A lot of times I open my laptop with one hand and don't want to get two hands into it maybe cuz my other hand is not free or I'm doing something with it.
@@spectraxx3586 First of all stiff hinges are better if the hinge is flimsy then when you jerk your laptop maybe when you pick it up the, But what's the big deal why not use 2 hands?
Show me one person who will reject a laptop just because the hinge was more tight..
By this logic we should also compare weights and how easy it is to pickup your laptop with one hand, and LG gram will win this, You might not life it with single hand but lots of people do.
It's not a metric you should look at when comparing laptops because it will never be decision makes when selecting laptops.
lenovo, apple and every company undervolts their i9 and i7, dell doesn't do, idk y, u never undervolted and tested it
Trying to figure out what person spending 1k+ on a laptop gives a shit about the speakers lol.
You have a resemblance to Chris Pratt.
love ur videos. whats up with these big companies backmailling consumers by putting one thunderbolt 3? why can't they put 2 or 3 or 4?
I need a MacBook but i want a gaming laptop on a $1500 mark, I'm confused af 😵
Get a Macbook Pro on the education discount and put an egpu with an rx 570 or 580, if you can find a good price on those. That sounds like a $1500 macbook that can game
@@MayPolBeats egpu has been proven to be a terrible value. Unless you use final cut, logic pro, anything you would buy a mac for can be done on a cheaper windows laptop.
@@leecason9468 exactly
Dont buy a MacBook if u wanna game
@@leecason9468 egpus can help you play games on Macs when you run windows on boot camp, not really as good experience as a gaming laptop but is better than a laptop having mx250 gpu. So that option is legit if he just want to casual gaming but a gaming laptop will be a better laptop if his main concern is competitive gaming and not much or portability or battery concerns or colour accuracy stuffs
The neck on that 🐢 tho 😂🤣 0:18 I can't even watch the review. OMG
Apple fanboy
Still no white version. Disappointment.
Facts
I think this is not the best bang for the buck oled laptop. A similar spec'd hp Spectre x360 will cost less than 1700 usd at hp.com.
This review is sucks and bias. And yet want me to subscribe to this kind of channel. Perhaps in my dream.
apple fanboy..
Just to make sure this is the 11th comment.
All this guy is doing is comparing the Dell XPS with "His" Macbook Pro, which usually costs a $1000 more. He's seems bent in degrading the Dell to lift up his personal Laptop as being better .
See I have something better.
Under screen calibration the Dell (OLed) works just fine for photo and video editing, less the weaker sounding speakers on the Dell.
Bogus biased review
Is this the MacBook fanboy? Nobody listens to laptop 🔊 anymore, rather they use headphones.
Mohammad Najar I and lots of people that buy Macbook do. Man! Window and dell fanboys cry so loud when they heard their god looks inferior.
Kindly Pls reply
Xps is over priced and over rated. Dell has been lazy just like apple. They havent changed the design for years.
Bruh! Like I said window and Dell Fanboys don't like you telling the truth.
