@@ADHDWhiskey "Pouring" whisk/e/y into a glass is not "disrespectful", but albeit humorous, you have a history (like just in the other video) of doing your 3 mile away from the glass pour, risking spillage, and often spilling some as a result. I wouldn't be in "funny mode" trying to entertain while pouring a rare and expensive whiskey that was donated to me generously by those who worked so hard to make it. I'd carefully, if not cautiously pour such a whiskey into the glass as if I frickin appreciate it! THEN you can do your funny stuff. But that's just me. Cheers.

Not something i was aware of and super high price, but i gotta give em props. Bottled at a high proof, xxo cognac isnt cheap, high age, well blended. they didnt cheap out and bottle it at 80 proof and slap an insane price tag on it.

The teriyaki note is interesting because I have a few cognac finishes and I always say savory meat marinade, like teriyaki or asian barbecue.

The technical term for the hangy down thing is the uvula, but the Latin translation is vas deferens so you are right.

No, seriously, I do appreciate your warning us about going overboard as I definitely felt the compulsion to collect everything you (and others) rated high over the past year. I committed to a one-year hobby following a spinal fusion in June to form the best collection I could and you were my inspiration behind most of my purchases. I've had a lot of fun and never compromised my financial security however. It was tough to remain somewhat disciplined though! Can't bring myself to spend $500 on a bottle of whiskey. And its not a money problem for me. I've just had too many whiskies that are awesome that are all under $200, most under $100. I can't imagine anything being so good that it's worth that much more money. Would love to try this one though, unfortunately if any of these make it to a bar I can only imagine the price of a pour LOL.

My bottle arrived today...it's bottled in Tennessee, not Kentucky. The bottle says "Bottled by Playboy Spirits, Memphis, TN". TBH, I don't really care where it was bottled, it's the quality that I care about.

@@hedlyna once you get in the groove, check out different profiles. Check out wheated, high rye, low rye mash bills. Start in the 80-90ish stuff with a little ice or a couple drops of water. Let your neat stuff breathe for 5 or so minutes. You don't have to do all of this, but it worked for me.
