I have some 10 year eagle rare in tacky collector's bottles from the 80s. So they're like 50 years old now. I wonder if they would be worth anything.

Sounds strangely like an old Scotch. I guess the oak influence is so strong after 25 years that the corn backbone fades into the background

That's up to the individual. I don't think I'd ever spend $10,000 on a bottle of whiskey - but I'm probably not the target consumer here.
