What kind of fabric did you use for the lining? Also if you could possibly add a note on the video to the section where you are adding the zip and slip pockets to switch it to 3” it would save others like me who were sewing along with you. 😉 I am almost done with mine. I really like your style of teaching.
Thank you Laura, I will get with the editor and do this for sure. I can see how it would help! Thank you for watching.
That is nice!! You bags are always so elegant.
Thank you so much and thank you for watching!
Such a cute bag.
Thank you so much for another free pattern
You’re welcome 😊
I love the French seam method! I suit when making garments.
Beautiful and classic bag. Thank you.
Really a cute bag. I like the shape.
Oh this is cute!!
Fabulous video and love the bag, the French seams are a brilliant idea 😍
Thank you! I’m totally going to make one for my b-day!🎉🎉🎉
This has been a great video tutorial, you’ve delivered so clearly the instructions. I’m looking forward to trying this one
Thank you so much for watching!
this is the first video of yours that i have seen. and it's a good one! what a beautiful bag!
it's also a great teaching video. easy to understand and great directions... also the camera angles are perfect for seeing what you are doing up close.
thanks for taking the time to make this video....
Thank you for watching Sheryl! Please subscribe if you haven't already.
Could you make this out of a canvas and then the bottom out of something heavier like faux leather? I'm trying to figure out how to make this work with my small domestic machine.
Yes, absolutely!
This is gorgeous! Thank you Chris! No way I’m trying that but it was beautiful to watch 😂
Thank you for watching Leslie!
same for me!
i've got some sewing skills but perhaps not the patience for the details...
it is a beautiful bag...
What machine is that ?- that little foot is mesmerising !
I sew with a Consew 206RB5. I have had it for about 20 years and love it!
I love this bag, would you recommend using leather?
Absolutely! It would be gorgeous in leather.
Awesome!! May I ask what model is your machine?
Yes, I use a Consew 206RB5. I have had it for about 20 years and love it!
What weight of thread do you use? And, what stitch length. I like the way the bag looks and certainly want to try it. However, thread I have for the industrial machine (hasn't been used yet) I think would be heavy. Thank you. You make it all seem doable
Thanks for watching Cindy. I used Amann bonded nylon Tex 70 thread. You can find it at Sunny Sewing Machines, here is a link sunny-sewing-machines.myshopify.com/
How much material did you use for the main and the lining?
1/2 yard of main fabric and 1/2 yard of lining fabric will work. Thanks for watching!
@@simplyclassic I just love your videos. Much love from Trinidad and Tobago
Where was the key fob added?
I forgot to add it! I found it sitting on the table after the video! I am terrible about forgetting them!!!
I try to turn on notifications but it says “notifications are turned off for kids”
Thanks for watching Diane, I do have the settings of the channel set for "not for kids". But if YT knows that you are an adult, I would think that would be okay. I wonder if the year of your DOB is incorrect in YT?
@@simplyclassic nope all is correct. I’m subscribed to about 150 channels lol.
Ok. Let me ask my computer people and see if they can figure out what the problem might be. Sorry for the inconvenience.
