Customer state’s transmission feels jerky and not normal. I test drove this #2013 #Honda #civic and found the transmission to in face not be shifting correctly at all. After scanning for codes I found #p0717 and began my diagnostics from there.
If you go to a shady mechanic this problem could have been fixed by installing a brand new transmission which could easily cost more than $5000, but that would not be the right thing to do.
#p0717
input shaft speed sensor
P0717 turbine speed sensor
P0717 honda civic
Would you by chance know a part number that i can use to find that specific sensor?
I do not sorry
I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker & the input turbine sensor has went out but I can not find location to replace it. Can anyone show me a video or diagram of location of sensor is?
I do not have any info on Chevy products sorry. As well as the location of the sensor.
But the voltage at the wires should be similar.
i already replaced the input speed sensor but it still comes what should I do
Did you check the wires like in the video?
If input sensor was replaced and the p0717 code comes back immediately what should be next step?
Does it come back with the key on engine off? Or with the engine running?
@@con_Auto changed out the sensor and cleared code within 24hrs it came back with check engine, flashing green drive, and code came back p0717
Maybe replace the main shaft sensor too?
@@con_Auto doesn't come back on till driven
No codes appear till you drive the car
